What an enchanting book, I was transported from sitting in my conservatory listening to the rain to this wonderful glamorous world of dance, where I could feel the music vibrating through the wooden floorboards and hear the swish of the women’s gowns - magical! Raymond de Guise, the main character from Book 1, is offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance to go to Hollywood and be launched as a star to rival Fred Astaire. I admit to reading the first chapter in Anton's voice but soon got over my adoration and enjoyed the book for its own merits. Trading Address (Warehouse) Unit E, Vulcan Business Complex, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EB. But I don't what to be a person who died, I would liked to of lives after the best titanic boat has sank.

I found it very unsatisfying that Raymond sacrificed his dreams to stay with Nancy in London, and she didn't seem to have the slightest idea how heart-breaking that must have been for him. Nancy Nettleton is still deeply in love with Raymond, and attached to Vivienne Edgerton whose life choices have been questionable. If you love downtown Abbey and strictly come dancing, with a splash of romance, drama, love and sophistication then this book is for you. Separated from chambermaid Nancy he keeps her abreast of his shenanigans via frequent correspondence. The staff and guests of the Buckingham soon discover that in a hotel full of secrets, there’s always someone listening . Shaken by the Great Depression and with talk of another war coming, the Buckingham Hotel is trying to regain some stability. As society in London and internationally struggles to come to terms with potential disaster, the other side of London life is revealed.

Hot on the heels of his debut album 'From The Top', Anton now realises his boyhood ambition and will be publishing his first novel, 'One Enchanted Evening'. As Strictly's longest running professional dancer, achieving a remarkable decade in dance on tour with his professional partner Erin Boag, and as a much sought-after personality and presenter, Anton is the perfect author to lead the reader to the dancefloor as never before. For a light and easy read, 'authored ' by a celebrity, I've been surprised how much social history is in this series. I absolutely love what is happening to Miss Edgerton as she ropes Nancy into her night-time shenanigans! And upstairs, Vivienne Edgerton is desperate to do something worthwhile with her time and her step-father’s money, rather than spending it on dresses and frivolities – but will this land her back in trouble? This is a smoothly plotted book with much drama and crisis, a lot of which is centred on the choices made by various characters. The sequel to his best-selling One Enchanted Evening, its setting is the Buckingham, a luxurious hotel where the elite rub shoulders with more ordinary folk on the dance floors of the impressive Grand Ballroom. I loved the added touch of the characters list at the start as there is alot of characters to get to grips with especially if like me this is your first encounter with them. Anton Du Beke - the King of Ballroom, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ royalty, and household name - is truly making his mark as one of this generation’s all-round entertainers. Having just finished reading ‘Moonlight Over Mayfair’, I can guarantee that ‘One Enchanted Evening’ will not be on that ‘to be read’ mountain for very much longer.
