Hisense has announced its latest TV offering for 2022, and this guide breaks down the updates to its Mini-LED, OLED and Laser series. In 2021 Hisense launched its first Mini-LED display in the U9GQ. That has now been followed up with the 2022 flagship U8HQ model. Despite being a mid-range TV, Hisense promises best-in-class overall video and audio from the U7HQ. This model supports all HDR formats and boasts a wide colour range. There’s also a game mode for PC and console users. It's the best tv i have owned. I changed my lg 55 inch smart 4k hdr to have this tv. Best decision i have made.

Closer to reality Get closer to reality with over a billion true-to-life colors. Experience a wider palette of color up to 100% (typical value) under the DCI-P3 standard ensures smoother gradients whilst reds, greens and blues appear more vivid and realistic. Disappointingly, there are fewer HDMI ports – three instead of four, but ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) are covered across all of them so you could plug a game console into any port and benefit from those features – though they are HDMI 2.0 ports, not 2.1 specified. eARC is supported on HDMI 2 for pass-through of lossless audio. Any TV should be fine for your usage, including your old Plasma. Beware that with sales around the corner and 2021 models remaining expensive you're likely to find a better deal by waiting, than buying something right now. I'm going to try my old 43 Samsung plasma side by side with the Hisense - if the plasma is even vaguely OK to watch I will return the Hisense and reassess. The L5F is the second of two Laser TVs that have been introduced for 2022. This model takes advantage of an Ultra Short Throw Laser to produce a 4K Ultra HD image.Certain television settings may require you to enter letters. There are usually three letters or other characters on a button. When letter input is required, you can press that button once for the first letter, press twice for the second letter and press 3 times for the third letter. This way, text can be written with a minimum number of buttons. You’ll get all of the benefits of a 4K QLED display with an easy-to-use system and some extra smart features to sweeten the deal. The sound isn’t amazing though so you might want to take a look at buying one of the best soundbars to go alongside it. I bought the Hisense to test - must admit I'm not very impressed on initial play - image is fuzzy around any movement. It's making me miss my ancient 58 plasma (it was too big and had to go )

The A9G is Hisense’s first OLED since the O8B from 2019. There’s support for HDR10+ as well as Dolby Vision IQ, which uses the TV’s light sensor to automatically adapt the brightness and contrast of an image in accordance with the brightness of a room, so you can see every detail. Never miss a detail With 4x more pixels than traditional Full HD, Hisense's 4K UHD resolution delivers breath taking picture quality and pin-sharp clarity.I do have an old plasma 720p (Samsung ps43d490) that is currently in the playroom and rarely used. This will still not be ideal for zwift but I could use it for a while if 43 inch TVs are still considered rubbish / rip off? I could watch TV whilst cycling on this and use ipad for Zwift. Unlike conventional TVs that tend to blur movement, Hisense TV with Smooth Motion identifies the smallest details related to fast-moving objects and reconstructs the pixels to restore clean, clear motion. Not sure what quality the app streams video, if its just 1080p you aren't going to be missing out on much using an older TV compared to a 4k one. If its 4k, well then you see more of an improvement. Enjoy over one billion shades of colours can be reproduced on your display with quantum dot technology with Hisense A7H QLED 4K Smart TV. Dolby Atmos® enabled QLED TV brings breakthrough immersive audio experience to your home whether it is shows, games or live sports.
