Description

The Revo SuperSystem is the flagship of the Revo range which is focussed on compact single chassis devices that are intended to be used as standalone systems. What sets the Revo apart from many of its rivals is that is equipped with a specification that goes a long way to justifying the use the word 'Super' in the title. The SuperSystem is able to offer a range of functionality that should allow it to take on a number of roles in a household. Once you invest in a radio, you’re likely to own it for several years, so you want to make sure you choose one with excellent sound quality. Most of their current products include ‘Super’ in the name (SuperCD, SuperConnect, SuperSystem etc.) If you really want a stripped-down system on your bookshelves, then the Edifier R1700BTs certainly fit the bill. Marketed as studio monitors, they work just as well in a home setup, and their built-in amplifier and Bluetooth connectivity mean there is no need for extra units, save for a smartphone, tablet, or laptop from which to stream your audio. They even have basic equalization controls and a master volume located in their side panel.

Their latest series, the “Super Series” is their most recent offering to the world of “radio with a difference”, a series which has a very striking flagship model. WLAN-Radio – Zugang zu mehr als 30.000 Stationen aus der ganzen Welt. Aber die Musik hört hier nicht auf – SuperSystems Revo is a specialist designer of digital audio devices, founded in 2004 by David Baxter and Colin Urie and headquartered in the small Scottish market town of Lanark. Founded in 2004, Revo blends a winning combination of classic, mid-century design cues with practical, functional usability, as well as great audio quality. The SuperSignal’s compact size would make it a good choice for a kitchen countertop or bedside table.Fähigkeit, mit externen Geräten und Diensten zu kommunizieren, ist konkurrenzlos. Netzwerk-Audio- und WLAN-Technologie It’s a good choice if you want something small, stylish and portable that sounds detailed and warm. The Revival iStream 3 is a compact radio (11 x 16 x 25.5 cm) with a beautiful retro design and great sound quality. Today’s Audio Affair Blog takes a look at the full range of excellent Revo radios and wireless speakers. A 2.7” OLED display provides information about what’s playing and is clear enough to be read from a distance. Other Features

Most of the big companies that manufactured stereo shelf systems in the golden years of living room hi-fi have continued to make similar offerings up until today, with very few changes besides the addition of a few modern features like wireless streaming via Bluetooth. The Onkyo CS-265, Sony CMTSBT100, and Yamaha MCR-B020BL all represent traditional designs from companies that are well-respected in the world of audio equipment, but these high fidelity units come with similarly high price tags. Their particular pros and cons make them worthwhile options for anyone who wants an old-school stereo experience, but doesn't want to give up modern conveniences like iTunes and Spotify. While slightly discounted in price, the Sharp XLHF102B and LG CM4590 have essentially the same design, and offer similar benefits. We also liked the Revo SuperSystem as an all-in-one solution that marries top-quality construction with excellent acoustic properties and features. Highlights include its front-facing USB input and charging port, a highly detailed OLED display, and Bluetooth connectivity that uses the advanced aptX codec to better reproduce compressed digital audio files. Being the flagship model of an esteemed brand, great efforts have been made to ensure that every detail is well looked after, with every scrap of the design and build feared towards audio performance first and foremost, and usability second. At the other end of the frequency extreme, the Revo isn't quite so well sorted. There is no shortage of bass from the lower firing driver and the mounting system is sufficiently stout that there is no sense of it sounding flabby or uncontrolled but the integration between it and the BMRs isn't perfect. The changeover isn't perfect between the two and the tonality shifts very slightly as it does so. Unless you happen to be listening to music where something critical is happening at this crossover point, the effect is not too pronounced though and the Revo does a more convincing job than many rivals. The Revo has an 80-watt amplifier that delivers sound through two 3.5-inch flat panel BMR speakers. The effect is high quality sound that can fill a large room and is forceful and subtle at the same time.

Revo is a newer brand, having been founded in Lanark in 2004. It designs digital audio devices that combine the latest digital audio technology with the finest design principles. Product Ranges and FeaturesThe 2.7 OLED display is also available to give you an insight into whatever is playing, so you can use that to figure out what you want to do next with your system. Models like the Edifier R1280DB, Keiid Compact Shelf System, and 1byone Wireless Turntable HiFi System break from a typical layout in an exciting way that takes advantage of the current consumer landscape. Why have a CD player if you don't have CDs? What if the two main things you listen to are LPs and playlists on your phone? These choices might look a little odd, but they all have a charming look and niche features that will make them perfect for certain readers. The Revo SuperSystem is designed to be an all-in-one music machine. It’s no surprise then that it comes with access to a range of streaming options, including internet radio, DAB+, DAB, and FM with RDS. Overall, you’ll be able to access around 24,000 stations from across the world. It also features access to Spotify Connect, which means you get another 30 million songs to choose from. The Revo Supersystem All-In-One System is a hi-fi quality speaker and radio, in one convenient and tidy box. It is, as mentioned before, the flagship of Revo’s new Super Series, which features the Revo SuperConnect and the Revo SuperSignal beneath it in smaller, less feature-laden and less powerful incarnations.
