Description

Both fixtures feature a minimalist control interface that blends into the body for a simple yet elegant lamp head design, removing the need for a control box. The dual rear-facing side handles and redesigned Bowens Mount release latch even allow for ergonomic adjusting of the fixture wherever it is rigged. These new amaran lights enjoy a wide CCT range of 2,500K to 7,500K, allowing users the flexibility to light warm to daylight-balanced scenes without the need to gel or switch out lights to achieve various colour temperatures. Being Sidus Link compatible lights, the ability to change colour temperatures on the fly without ever needing to touch the fixture only further reinforces the 150c and 300c as truly versatile, all-in-one light sources. Created with an all-in-one design principal in mind, the 150c and 300c house powerful RGBWW LED chipsets that have impressive outputs, especially when paired with their included Bowens Mount Hyper Reflectors. Even with diffusion modifiers such as soft boxes, the 150c and 300c lights are sufficiently bright to be used in a variety of roles both on film sets and in a home recording studio. With simple and intuitive control panels on the lamp heads themselves, working with these fixtures is fast and hassle-free. There are 19-degree and 36-degree lenses to deliver versatile light output. The light includes an adjustable beam angle, and an 18-leaf iris (sold separately) can also be attached to adjust light quality further. The amaran Spotlight SE has an optional 18-blade iris users can place inside the spotlight for additional control over the light beam.

The 150c and the 300c feature a universal Bowens Mount and come with the Aputure Hyper Reflector. The main advantage of a Bowens Mount is that you can use many different lighting modifiers such as the new Light Dome Mini SE. This is an octabox soft light modifier, featuring an 8-sided parabolic design with a reflective silver inner lining. Measuring 58x34x21,5cm / 22,8×13,4×8,5in when built, with a weight of 0,73kg/1.61lbs, the Light Dome Mini SE is comparatively small and light for a soft light octabox. It can be used with other fixtures like the amaran COB S Series, as shown in the photo below. amaran Light Dome Mini SE – Source: CineD Spotlight SE With internal shutters, you can shape the beam for lighting control. For additional shaping capabilities, the Spotlight SE also comes with 15 M-Size Gobo inserts. An M-Size 18-Leaf Iris is sold separately and can be combined with the shutters and gobos. amaran Spotlight SE – Source: CineD Spotlight SE – main features Camera Maker เราเป็นผู้จัดจำหน่ายอย่างเป็นทางการ จากแบรนด์ผู้ผลิตอุปกรณ์ถ่ายภาพระดับมืออาชีพ ทั้งอุปกรณ์ทั้งภาพนิ่งและวีดีโอ amaran has created a few accessories designed for the 150c and 300c, specifically the Spotlight SE (with a 19-degree and a 36-degree lens available) and Light Dome Mini SE. We took a look at both of these accessories at NAB 2023, and that video is here. The Light Dome Mini SE is amaran’s first Bowens Mount octabox soft light modifier. Featuring an 8-sided deepFor users who need the most output possible out of a compact soft box, the Light Dome Mini SE features a deep parabolic design with a highly reflective inner lining, allowing for highly efficient light output. The Spotlight SE is a compact projection lens that transforms your light beam into a hard spotlight. It comes with a choice of two lens options – 19º and 36º to customize your lighting. The 19º lens focuses the light output into a tighter beam, resulting in a smaller and brighter light circle. The 36º lens provides a larger beam spread for wider areas. When paired with the amaran 300c and using the Spotlight SE 19-degree lens, the combination delivers a luminance of 22,330 lux at one meter and 5,600K color temperature. The amaran Spotlight SE is compatible with a range of drop-in patterns. The amaran 150c is amaran’s first-ever full-color 150W Bowens Mount point-source LED light, combining RGBWW full-color control, optical and soft light Bowens Mount versatility, integrated controls, and most importantly, high-quality light output.

The 150c and 300c come equipped with a redesigned high-efficiency heat sink and silent active cooling system, which means that users can focus on lighting their scene instead of how to mitigate fan noise. Aputure is targeting filmmakers and content creators with its new amaran 150c and 300c lights. “With point-source color as their strength, the amaran 150c and 300c give creatives control that no other amaran fixture can,” explains Aputure. Aputure amaran 150cThe amaran 150c and 300c are amaran’s first full-colour 150W and 300W point-source LED lights, combining RGBWW full-color control, optical and soft light Bowens Mount versatility, integrated controls, and most importantly, high-quality light output. Consistent with other fixtures across the entire Aputure and amaran product line, the amaran 150c and 300c can be controlled wirelessly via the Sidus Link mobile app with Sidus Mesh technology. You can finely tune almost every single aspect of each 150c and 300c fixture from your smartphone or tablet for maximum flexibility, from its output with 0%-100% stepless brightness control, colour control, built-in effects, or even save up to 10 Custom FX and 10 Music FX presets for easy access to different light modes. Creators who work in home studios and filmmakers who work on set will appreciate the lightweight yet sturdy build of the 150c and 300c as they do not require heavy stands to support them. With 150W of output, the 150c easily illuminates a desk setup or home studio. The 300c with its 300W of output can be easily implemented as a key or fill light on set. Using the same foundational RGBWW technology as professional fixtures like the Aputure LS 600c Pro, the amaran 150c and 300c produce stunning color quality throughout their expanded bi-colour CCT range of 2,500K to 7,500K with green-magenta adjustment and 360° HSI color control with >90% coverage of the Rec.2020 Color Space. And with high CRI/TLCI [95+], SSI (D56) [71], and SSI (Tungsten) [83] scores, the both fixtures can reliably output color-accurate light to achieve faithfulto-life skin tones. Measuring 58.0 x 34.0 x 21.5cm (22.8 x 13.4 x 8.5in) when built, with a weight of only 0.73kg (1.61lbs), the Light Dome Mini SE is similar in size to but lighter than the Aputure Light Dome Mini II. The small size of the soft box allows it to be used effectively in confined spaces, and its lightweight mitigates the necessity of heavy stands to support it. amaran Spotlight SE

In addition to their included AC Power Supplies, the amaran 150c and 300c lights are capable of running off DC power via battery solutions. Utilising their 48V DC power inputs, each fixture can be powered using two Gold or V-Mount batteries via the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station (sold separately). The amaran 150c also punches well above its weight class, outputting 15,610 lux (5600K) using the included Hyper Reflector combined with 0-100% dimming control. parabolic design with a highly reflective silver inner lining, it transforms point-source fixtures such as the With industry leading colour accuracy, the amaran 150c and 300c offers high scores in color metrics tests across the board. Both lights score an impressive SSI (Tungsten) rating of 83 and SSI (D56) rating of 71, putting them near the top of their respective product categories when it comes to true colour accuracy.

The two lights offer a new form factor for the company. It’s very different to everything they’ve released in the past. They’re a little bit bigger than the Amaran 100D and 200D to account for the extra electronics and power requirements – as well as the larger heatsink and fan – so they needed to be redesigned. This larger design, however, has its advantages. The larger fan means that it can spin more slowly to shift the same amount of air and keep the unit cool. And a slower fan means a quieter fan. Utilising the same foundational RGBWW chipset found in other Aputure and amaran fixtures, the amaran 150c boasts stunning colour quality throughout its expanded 2,500K to 7,500K bi-colour CCT range. And with a CRI and TLCI of 95+, SSI (D56) of 71, and SSI (Tungsten) of 83, you can always ensure that you can light your subjects with confidence while reproducing accurate skin tones. Sidus Link (the Bluetooth-based app commonly used to control amaran and Aputure wirelessly) is also compatible with fixtures using wireless DMX and LumenRadio built-in. So, the dividing line between amaran (no-DMX) and Aputure (yes-DMX) is a bit grayer these days, and that’s fine by me. amaran products also tend to rely more on plastic components than metal in the case of Aputure. Despite their compact formfactors, the amaran 150c and 300c lights both have a built-in full BowensWith an octagonal diffusion design, filmmakers and creators can achieve rounder reflections and eye lights compared to a square or rectangular design. We have all experienced situations when lights start to produce a bothersome buzzing sound, which is annoying when you are shooting quiet scenes with actors. Aputure claims that the 150c and the 300c come with new heat sinks and a silent active cooling system. This has to be tested in a real-world situation, but at least it sounds promising. amaran 300c LED Light – Source: CineD Control app At present, most light fixtures use a single blue light emitter to excite the LED phosphor. To significantly improve the R12 value in daylight color temperatures, a multi-blue light emitter is often used. You can see that the R12 of our dual-blue LED lights like the amaran 200x S and Electro Storm CS15 is 92+. You can see this discrepancy across the lighting industry in fixtures with High SSI color technologies vs those that do not. It relates to the blue spike that people often mention about LED’s spectral power distributions. A lot of lights that only use a single blue light emitter will result in similar R12 values in the 70s to low 80s, depending on the color science, combination of chips, and the LED chips used.” Conclusion
