Get it while you still can. The same opinion I have with for example Penhaligon’s Vaara which is purely a woman’s perfume, no matter what Penhaligon’s marketing team would like you to believe. This is just elegant, bold, glorious and almost masculine enough for me to wear. I bought a small sample and tested on my skin for a few days because a youtube reviewer said it was unisex. Almost, but that bombastic, bold rose, which gives the fragrance its character, leans it more feminine to me. The woody and fruity/ambery notes are just so good and well blended and warm.

Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme 90ml eau de parfum

Took me a while to finally get this, and as a fan of both chypres and of Morillas' work, it did not disappoint. It's sort of a cousin to YSL's Elle. Fruity, woody and feminine with a sexy edge. The opening has a quirky (and thankfully fleeting) sour animalic note that lasts 3 seconds, but it mellows out into a lovely smooth woody-earthy-berry delight. This is not a teenager's berry fest, but a sophisticated fruity chypre that is both sensual and elegant. When the fragrance dries down, Absolute moves into being a woody, earthy, musky, sappy, and even cozy fragrance. The woody characteristics are more intensified, more evident with smoky nuances.I got a sample of GGA the other day and I enjoyed smelling it since the first time I sprayed it. The first minutes you feel the berries, really beautiful. Then it dries down to a more sophisticated, woody fragrance. My partner says it’s “unbearable” at the beginning, but I don’t see it that way. I think it’s suitable for a +30 confident woman during winter/autumn night time. In my opinion, this would be too much for daytime but maybe some of you may pull it off. To be fair, Dark Lord is a more intense and deeper edition of this release, but it doesn’t justify the niche price whatsoever. The opening smells like rotten berries which doesn’t last more than a minute. Then I smell a beautiful well blended complex scent, I get roses prominently with flawlessly blended fruits.

It is very similar to Florabotanica. Vetiver and rose. Florabotanica has mint, this one has cypress, and it may be a little woodier and more fruity, but they are similar.This would be a great choice as a leisure night out and daily wear business fragrance perfectly suited for someone in higher positions in the office. This is similar to Louis Vuitton Matière Noire, difference being that the LV contains oud in the base while GGA pour femme doesn't. I love the original and don't like this one. There's nothing similar about them, don't know why they named it Guilty. Wow, this is a very strong fragrance. The scent is overwhelmingly woody, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. The woody notes are very realistic and perhaps some of the most evocative I've smelled. It's too woody for me personally, but someone looking for an antique wood smell would enjoy this. Works as a decent evening fragrance with above average longevity, silage. Would not work well as a day fragrance in a hot climate. Has almost "niche" feeling to it.

The #GuiltyNotGuilty revolution continues with the launch of Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme, the ultimate partner for Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme. It is a dark, slightly vulgar (in expensive way) fragrance with notes of rose, patchouli and some woods and grass. It is a bit sour to my taste, that's where the "body odour" feeling comes in. J’adore ce parfum, froid, boisé et juteux! Il est tellement agréable, il fait très femme fatale selon moi! I like everything that would evoke the Mediterranean Sea, with the deep blue water, the sun and the nature which go with it. I am very attached for example to the citruses, sea notes and flowers including jasmine, tuberose, neroli and orange blossom. They are the expression of a certain kind of freshness, a sophisticated freshness and at the same time full of joy. ALBERTO MORILLAS Just got my bottle and I absolutely love it! It's like a fruity/berry fragrance for grown ups! I would not call this a sweet fragrance but it does have some sweetness to it - just perfect. Initial opening is more unisex, however dry down is definitely more feminine. A fantastic creation by Morillas.On my skin I do get cypress after a while but unfortunately the patchouli is too much for me. It smells like a musty old attic or room in your grandparents house, not an earthy, hippy type of patchouli. With supporting notes of vetiver and three forms of patchouli that resulted in ultra-dry woody notes with a fresh and earthy smell to boost the intensity of the fragrance. I'm a big fan of these recent Gucci releases, I own and love the men's Guilty Absolute which is just brilliant and pretty daring for a designer fragrance, a fresh take on a leather scent. Gucci claims this fragrance remains unchanged from first application. While I understand what they mean, it is not exactly true. A detectable woodiness from vetiver, patchouli, and goldenwood also keeps the fragrance from going into the all-sweet territory and transports me somewhere in dark forests during the early fall.
