Description

The Cricut Explore 3 is one good looking machine. Unlike the older Explore Air 2, which comes in various colours, this machine comes in just one shade: soft mint green. The Cricut Explore 3 is a very stylish looking cutting machine, and the rounded edges make it look sleek and compact. It measures 15 x 17 x 56cm, so it’ll effortlessly sit on any workspace without taking up too much room. It’s also lightweight at just 10lbs, which is almost half the weight of the Cricut Maker 3.

Since Smart Materials are 13 inches wide, and regular materials are only 12 inches wide, you may be wondering if you can make projects that are an inch wider with Smart Materials. With regular 12-inch materials on a mat, you can make projects up to 11.5 inches wide since there needs to be a small margin along the edges. Now let’s go into more detail on the two bit things that make this new machine different from previous versions. Cricut Explore 3 Speed Improvements Smart Iron On comes in a range of lengths up to 2.7m (9 feet), which can be handy if you’re running off a large project for your heat press and want to group designs as close together as possible to minimise waste. With 13-inch Smart Materials, the machine needs wider margins to grip the materials itself. So, the maximum width of projects made with Smart Materials is just 11.7 inches. So technically, yes, you can do wider projects, but only but 0.2 inches. Cricut Explore Air 2 vs. Cricut Explore 3: Different tools and accessories? From there, you can select your new machine and follow the on-screen instructions to get it hooked up to your computer. How is Cricut Explore 3 different than other Cricut Explore machines?

This is my best guess. In the short term, these new machines will be sold alongside the original Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore machines because it takes a long time to get through inventory. But after a while, you’ll probably start to see the older machines being replaced with these new machines on store shelves and online.

The Cricut Explore 3 is the newest edition to the Cricut family and is faster, smarter and does away with the need for a mat.

The machine case color has been updated to a matte mint green and the size of the tool cup on the left side of the machine has been made bigger. BUT don’t worry—support for Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore isn’t going anywhere. Because these new machines are within the same “ecosystem” as the original machines (meaning they use the same mats, blades, tools, and accessories as the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore Air 2), support for these machines will still be readily available. Should I Upgrade to the Cricut Explore 3? You do not need the Cricut Roll Holder to use Smart Materials, but it does make corralling and trimming materials easier. If you are not using Smart Materials and are cutting your project using a Cricut mat, then the cutting speed is the same as Cricut Explore Air 2, which is still 2x the speed of the original Cricut Explore machine. Cricut Smart Materials and Matless Cutting Cricut Smart Materials are a range of products specially designed to be cut without having to be attached to a Cricut Mat. It’s a feature that was first introduced when the Cricut Joy was released and has now been made a standard feature across both the Cricut Explore 3 and the Cricut Maker 3.

Cricut Explore 3 is one of the next generation of Cricut cutting machines, which also includes Cricut Maker 3. These reengineered machines give you even more ways to create with your Cricut, as you’ll see below. Where Did the “Air” Go? Available in a variety of colors and effects so you can create a custom shirt for yourself or the whole team. Cut a single image up to 4 ft (1.2 m) or repeated shapes up to 12 ft (3.6 m). Make a custom shirt for yourself or your entire team! Just load and go.

Long for this world.

Serious crafters are going to look at the Cricut Maker 3 and the Explore 3, which are the newest top-of-the-line and the middle-priced machines, respectively. Many of the accessories, tools, and materials are interchangeable; certainly, everything you can use with the Explore 3, you can use with the Maker 3 as well. Both of these machines are appropriate for beginners looking to expand their crafting abilities. They are both easy to use and offer plenty of room to grow. Mini but mighty! Bring on the unusual objects and projects with Cricut EasyPress Mini. Now you can get high-impact heat-transfer results in a thoughtful, compact design.
