Ensure that there is no MAC filtering enabled on the router (or make sure that the gateway is in the white-list). This might also work with similar rolling shutters/blinds from other manufacturers that uses the same principle. ❗ Important Note Here is the documentation for putting the 4CH Pro in flashing mode: Tasmota documentation. It contains informations about the three different revisions of the hardware.

Unfortunately, wheras it is shown in the app that windows closed due to rain, the sensor is not made available via HomeKit neither here. In my (rented) apartment I do have several VELUX INTEGRA windows with blinds. I also asked myself what the best way would be to integrate them as in addition to the mentioned VELUX products also Somfy claims to be compatible (as based on io-homecontrol) both with VELUX and also with Apple HomeKit. The power supply is not provided and I used a 24V 6A PSU. Apparently only 1A is needed per shutter motor so a 3A PSU should be more than enough to power 2 motors and the electronics. Price Goods that are either damaged or missing in transit must be marked on the delivery driver's paperwork prior to signing for the goods delivered, and reported to Roof Giant within (7) working days of the actual delivery date. Status as of 2022-07-06: Still working and in use daily. How to control Velux electric rolling shutters with Home Assistant and without Velux hardware

Stay in control with the VELUX ACTIVE smartphone app

With VELUX Touch, you only need to reach for the remote to take control of your indoor comfort. VELUX Touch makes it easy to feel perfectly at home by ensuring every solar and electric roof window, blind and shutter is always within easy reach. Open your shutters in the morning to wake with the sun, open a roof window when the home office needs a breath of fresh air or draw the shades for family movie night - all with a single remote. This piece of hardware, the Sonoff 4CH Pro is ideal for this: It provides 4 relays, can be powered with 24V and has Wifi thanks to the ESP8266. It also has holes to solder a header to re-flash the chip and use a firmware more compatible with Home assistant, but more on that later. Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.

All VELUX window sizes are listed as width x height. For example, an MK04 window is 78cm wide and 98cm high. By the way, it seems that setup works only if you have an existing, configured remote control… means you still need one in parallel.HA integration via HomeKit controller worked only partly: for whatever reason I can only operate the blinds, but not the windows themselves, Somfy support was not helpful as they refer to VELUX (which I do not fully get as I thought of the Connectivity Kit to be the relay also for HomeKit). Btw, it is the same for “real” HomeKit, I have tried with an iPhone and also there I can only see the blinds but not the windows. In addition, the ”stop” button is not there, you can trigger open/close but not stop. Percentage for automation works. So I decided to give it a shot whit the cheapest solution and recently I bought a Somfy Connectivity Kit. My experience with it: All windows come with their own remote. It is possible to have both windows working from one of these remotes. However, this function will only let them open and close at the same time. I’m currently thinking which Gateway from Velux I should finally use. I gathered some information for the two devices below. I have solar covers with the remote control 3LID13WW, Model: BG-RC011-01.

With VELUX App Control, comfort is always in reach. Simply tap your smartphone to let in a breath of fresh air or shade from the sun to control temperature, light, look, and feel of your home. VELUX blinds come with side channels which come in two different options. This is reflected in the product code: The new Velux Active system uses a series of clever built-in algorithms to adjust your windows automatically to ensure you enjoy a healthier, fresher indoor environment. These algorithms can be easily overriden to allow you to customise the settings according to your own needs. It can be DIN-rail mounted and it also has mounting holes. It has 4 buttons to control the covers manually and has an optional RF remote available (not tested). It'll expose 2 blinds entities, a light entity for the blue led and the buttons on the device will open/close the blinds. But then I found out that the motor control is trivial (article in french but schematics should be understandable by anyone). The blinds simply have two wires, if +24V is provided, the blinds will go up, stopping by themselves once they reach the top (the end stop is integrated) and -24V will makes them go down, once again they stop by themselves. 0V will obviously make them stop.

VELUX App Control: With this product you are also able to control your home with an the app. You can manually operate your VELUX products to any desired position, and you can make scheduled automations based on your personal settings, such as how many times a day you want to air the room. As no indoor climate sensor is included when purchasing your VELUX App Control, you are NOT able to make any smart automations. However, you can always add sensors to your VELUX App Control, whenever you want, and hereby upgrade it to a VELUX ACTIVE product. I sold the Connectivity Kit and and bought the VELUX KIG 300 (which seems to be designed by NETATMO). Here the result:No change if the manual closing command is given too short (below 5s-10s) if you move manually via remote control From my gathered experiences I have still one question: Is it possible to get an update of the current postion of the cover lets say every second while the cover is moving? If you want local support (via HomeKit controller) and you do not have Somfy products => I recommend KIG 300 With intuitive scheduling features, smartspeaker integration, and voice control, VELUX App Control lets you air out your home while you are at work or close a blind even when you have your hands full.
