Candace was confident, smug, and she looked and sounded like she was prepared to make Joe's life a living hell. That is a promising and exciting prospect. I don't know much about the book series, but it seems like the show is prepared to divert from the books for its sophomore season. This two-part documentary is a fairly generic telling of the Queen story, but the tale is rich enough to be entertaining anyway. Tonight, the disco years – Freddie Mercury immerses himself in New York nightlife and comes up with Another One Bites the Dust. Less edifyingly, the band head off to play in apartheid-era South Africa. PH Film choice There were a couple of quotes that came to mind during that scene. They summed up Joe this season, especially this episode. Both are from a poet by the name of Rudy Francisco; one from a poem aptly titled "Monster." And thus, the season ends as self-aware and reflective as it started. Did I mention how much I've enjoyed this twisted little series? Because I do. It was another example of how Joe's love is dangerous. This whole time, Joe was trying to look out for Paco and protect him, but he created a mini-version of himself and unleashed him on the world.

Now he and Claudia are off to California for a fresh start. Based on the little tidbits I learned about from book fans, I expected Joe to follow them. It's hard to believe it impacted Joe being a person of interest. There are too many deaths and disappearances around Joe to be a coincidence. It takes nothing to connect the dots. This is a wise decision, and it'll keep all fans on the edge of their seats. The show will be unpredictable, fresh, and crazier than ever with this Candace twist.Permalink: Tell me. Without meaning to, Joe imparted Mooney's wisdom on Paco, and it's terrifying to think that the cycle could continue. Paco could be on a path towards being like Joe. The short-staffed squad brings in Josef Hillman (Hanns Zischler), veteran and old friend of the team, but the new chief Oberg (Marie Goranzon) wants a new woman officer to round out the team.Stina Ekblad, who would later play Wallander’s coroner, plays the distraught wife who recalls a phone call and visit from a foreigner just before the murder. It soon becomes clear that her husband had been having affairs with several clients during his housecalls. One such woman is visibly upset and her Pakistani husband is investigated in light of honour killings known as karo-kari, traditional in his hometown. Oberg introduces new investigator, Alice Levander (Malin Birgerson), and admonishes the obstinate Gunvald to behave and curb his misogynistic tendencies, or else. It makes you wonder. How do you handle a person who you know has a proclivity for darkness and violence? How do you raise a repressed or high-functioning psychopath? A known criminal is gunned down in his own living room, but apparently it was just a matter of time. The distraught wife and her father are questioned as are his accomplices in crime, who themselves are looking for the killer. The boss Klas Freden makes a decision that leads to a dangerous riot in a housing complex. Gunvald falls for the young widow but stays focused on the investigation when he finds a link within the family to known drug smugglers. 3 – Invasion

The plot of the next season is yet to be determined and it’s going to be amazing, cause the end of the current season left us infinite characters with strong possibilities. Two nocturnal dog walkers find the dead body of a third in the woods. His face has been cut off. Could the dead man's job as a burglar alarm salesman have had anything to do with his gruesome death?
