To get Baby Annabell walking, simply raise her arms and straighten her legs. She will carry on walking for as long as she is in this position. Today I am working with Baby Annabell who has asked me to talk about Milestone Myths. Milestones, they are something as parents we cannot help but worry about or if you’re like me feel sad when some of the big ones have passed. From the first day at school to the very first steps. There is always the worry that your child might not be hitting one of them on time and there is always someone, usually meant in a kind way, there to offer advice or opinions on your child’s development. Baby Annabell comes dressed in a pink romper and a hat. These are easy to remove for creative play. The adorable baby Annabell not only laughs and cries she is also able to crawl and is learning to sit up and walk with a little support from her new mummy’s. In October we were sent Baby Annabell Learns to Swim and she is now a regular attendee of our swimming lessons, as Eliza is allowed to play with her at the end if she listens during her lesson.

Start her off on all fours and watch as she struggles to crawl, you might hear some crying sounds but that's not for long, Lilly is clever and soon she's off, crawling along the bedroom floor. Once she's mastered crawling Lilly is ready for her next challenge, walking. All little ones need to do is stand her up straight and hold onto her hands and Lilly will start to take small steps. It's so much fun to see her go. But by 14 months, my daughter just wasn’t ready to walk at all. During an appointment with the health visitor, she expressed concern that my daughter just wasn’t looking ready to walk. That if she hadn’t made signs to walk by 18 months she was going to give her a pediatric referral. It’s a funny thing, maybe because she was my second child but I just wasn’t concerned at all and thought that the health visitor was being over cautious. She was standing and I felt confident that she would start walking when she was ready. And of course, she did. By 16 months she was walking and it really does just go to show that children really do things at their own pace. Playing with dolls has gone through a bit of a resurgence in our house after a dip in popularity with Eliza. Both Sebastian and Eliza love to play with her, encouraging her to crawl towards them and lifting her up to help her walk. She is slightly heavier than other Baby Annabell dolls and due to her joints she is recommended for children aged 3 and up.Baby Annabell also sits for you and sometimes she will even throw a tantrum, just like a real baby to get her own way!

Likes on Facebook are NOT compulsory but are very much appreciated plus it will ensure you don’t miss great posts, freebies and competitions. She crawls for around 60 seconds, after which she falls asleep and will wake up if you press her tummy button.

The Baby Annabell range focuses on all the caring and nurturing aspects of being a mummy or daddy making it ideal for introducing little ones to the idea of a younger sibling coming along or caring for something / someone else. They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. Lilly Learns To Walk comes dressed in an adorable pink and blue romper with a hat and is the perfect doll for caring and nurturing whilst having fun.

My daughter was delighted with the walking doll, she loved the fact she could teach the doll to walk and I think her face in the picture above says it all. It does definitely takes some adult supervision to get the doll into the correct positions, particularly to crawl, you also have to hold the dolls arms to get her to walk otherwise her legs just kind of collapse under her. So don’t expect the doll to start walking off on its own. But, never the less it’s a fun toy that my daughter has very much enjoyed playing with. The girls loved playing with the doll, Mr Squishy got a little jealous that Annabell was getting so much attention. Annabell works best on a non slip floor but we only have wooden floors so were unable to demonstrate the crawling as well as we would have liked.

Once switched on she gurgles and coo’s, but to make her crawl you need to put her in the crawling position and lift her head up so she is looking ahead. She doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as other Baby Annabell dolls, but that is because her joints need to move to allow her to crawl and walk. Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store. When you’re talking about milestones, I think learning to walk is probably one of the bigger ones. Baby Annabell have sent us their new Learns to Walk doll. It’s a doll that can sit, crawl, learn to walk and even have a tantrum.

Baby Annabell Lilly Learns To Walk brings so much fun to playtime, this adorable baby girl can actually learn to walk! To get started simply insert the batteries and turn the doll on. My girls thought Baby Annabell was very cute with the baby sounds that she made. She laughs and also has a tantrum. What a great doll for creative play! This doll provides hours of daily fun for little ones and the girls loved pretending to be mummy. Standing at 42cm tall Baby Annabell is a big girl now especially as she is learning to sit up.
