Series and I think this book was the best one, because both, April and Sebastian, had a lot to experience. I didn’t like either of the main characters—both were so self destructive and un-relatable to myself at least. Early on, the story features a massive misunderstanding that causes Sebastian and April to break up.

At the time that April meets Sebastian, she is an older struggling student needing a serious cash injection. Someone to push his buttons, get him out of his comfort zone, challenge him, and bring out the beast in him. At first I thought she might be a bit too quirky or innocent even though she has her own past, but she was hilarious and just as stubborn as Seb. no srsly- i despised everything in this book idk why i gave it 2 stars originally xD but yeah, everyone annoyed the f outta me ESPECIALLY the mc's oh my god- girl.ah i don't know they give me those dudebro frat boy in an ivy league, misogynistic, the riot club vibes ya know what i mean?

Having worked in mental health in her former life, T L Swan is now seriously addicted to the thrill of writing and can’t imagine a time when she wasn’t. Some of the shit she says, does and thinks about had me wanting to close this book and throw it out. there's a SIX YEARS TIME JUMP that I seriously didn't see coming and I probably would ignore cuz 21% and me waiting for this book 😌 but the miscommunication and misunderstandings, i can't handle it. oh and i do like "strong-willed men," what i don't like is literal garbage cans masquerading as "heroes" in a romance novel.

I’m grumpy, bossy, dominant, and damn it, I just wish I could be sweeter and more romantic" Sebastian pretty much summed the book. Honestly, the whole book felt like a smuttier version of a Wattpad book I would have read when I was 15. I did love Mr Garcia BUT no one as yet can replace that little spot in my heart that Dr Stanton and Mr Spencer have camped out in for the past few years.

He attained his surgical qualifications, FRCS and FRCS (trauma and orthopaedics) during this period.She doesn’t want her friends to know about her and Seb’s relationship because he’s the Deputy Prime Minister. They meet again in other circumstances when April agrees to a job at a gentleman club, and Seb is a member there.
