Description

The rose gold Procurl Lash Curler features a 60-degree angle designed to help get the best curl, hypoallergenic silicone pads for optimum hygiene and a double-barrelled body for ultimate strength and control during application. You can maximise the look with mascara, but even those who choose to keep their lashes naked will reap the benefits of a more wide-eyed look. You can expect added drama in the form of height, curl and a fanned-out effect, whether you’re going bare or applying mascara on top. Satisfyingly subtle, we saw eyelashes that were evenly lifted up and outwards in a naturally curled effect. The silicone pads are noticeably thick for extra cushioning comfort and maximum lash lifting potential.

Naturally, metal curlers are sturdier and more durable than their plastic counterparts, but if you are sensitive or allergic to some metals, plastic may be the way to go. This universal design has some serious lash-amping abilities, making them great for those who have the length but are looking for extra lift and curl. Instead you have evenly separated lashes that once curled, frame the eyes with longer-looking fanned-out lashes. If you’ve got a wider-shaped eye and want lifted lashes that are also spanned outwards, we liked Tweezerman’s 38° lash curler.

Offering noticeable results on bare eyes, with mascara added on top, the result was significantly longer looking lashes. Lashes will look lifted, curled and more defined, so they’re particularly good for peepers with straight or short hairs. The curling plate appears quite wide at first, but this is because it effortlessly reaches every single eyelash.

Once you layer on mascara and let it dry, they become harder and therefore more likely to break when clamped down on. Within the curler plates sit refillable pads offering a comfortable base, so the frame doesn’t stick to lashes.

Eyelash curlers are a small but mighty make-up bag essential for lifting lashes and adding a lengthening effect. It's no surprise these curlers are some of the best in the business because Kevyn himself was a revered makeup artist who worked with top stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and was instrumental in creating the iconic 90s makeup that we are still emulating today. The light frame has sufficient room to hold your thumb and finger for moving into position and closing onto lashes. You’ll find the most classic types have two plates which, when pressed together by closing the handles, curl and separate lashes. The curlers feel sturdy yet lightweight and easy to grip, and we love the gentle red rubber cushion against the silver frame. Adding mascara emphasised this volumized effect further, and our lashes kept their curl for several hours too.

If your lashes tend to naturally overlap, you’ll do well with this eyelash curler and comb duo to create separation before you curl. The Sun", "Sun", "Sun Online" are registered trademarks or trade names of News Group Newspapers Limited.
