Description

Randomly draw new six-sided tiles and place them, face-up, onto the matching-coloured six-sided spaces in the six numbered depots: In a 2-player game only those spaces marked with 2s (12 spaces), in a 3-player game only those spaces marked with 2s and 3s (18 spaces), and in a 4-player game all 24 spaces will have tiles placed onto them. Players are trying to ensure that their estate is the most prosperous by having the most victory points. There are also red castle tiles, which can be replaced by beautifully moulded castle m There’s just about every different kind of set collection scoring mechanisms you could think of, here!

Peccato la grafica dai colori sbiaditi e l'ambientazione, anche se totalmente slegata al gioco, per nulla evocativa. A couple of years ago the publisher, Alea, and Stefan got their heads together and decided to revamp the game.Identical (random) board for all players: all players play with the same board, randomly chosen among available boards.

Players will earn bonuses for filling in a specific region of their board, which is worth more points if done earlier in the game, or for filling all hexes of a specific color on their entire board. The many ways to gain victory points in this building game require careful thought round after round along with extensive planning ahead. Randomly draw black-backed six-sided tiles and place them, face-up, onto the black depot in the middle of the game board (draw 2 to 8 tiles, depending on player number). Some general strategies carry over, such as completing small areas first and the importance of mines. If there is already a piece on that space, the player places their piece on top of the piece already there. If it is the first animal tile of that type placed in the pasture then the tile simply scores points for the number of animals on that tile. The cover art is perfectly reminiscent of medieval France and definitely has that familiar Euro game feel about it. There are elements of both set collection and worker placement (with the dice used as workers in this game).
