The West children also divulged their mother had inflicted most of the physical abuse and that their father frequently said that if they told anyone about the goings-on in the household they would be "buried under the patio" like their sister Heather. [145] Investigation [ edit ] It is revealed in the Tsumi horobo-hen manga that Rena goes grocery shopping with Keiichi's mother. It can be deduced that this is how she knew the type of instant noodles Keiichi eats in Oni kaku-hen. In the first episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, Rena appears as a 37-year-old adult in a purple business dress suit.
