Description

Being an ISO 200 speed film, it offers really fine grain and natural looking results under mixed daylight conditions. It’s probably because of the ECN2 processing, but in my experience Color Plus doesn’t have the yellow tint that Gold 200 brings.

You'll notice that even though film packaging is labelled as "Colorplus" (a pretty lazy name, I must say) the canisters inside are labelled "Kodacolor" with a branding scheme that looks like it's out of the 80's. While supposed to be cheaper than Kodak Gold, these days the pricing is completely bogus because everything is always in short supply, so I think I ended up paying more for this roll of Color Plus 200 than I ever did for a roll of Gold 200.Despite being delayed by the events of 2020, this was a great creative practice and I hope that it might encourage you to make images of something that intrigues you, and perhaps put them into a body of work through print! In April 1880, Eastman leased the third floor of a building on State Street in Rochester, and began to manufacture dry plates for sale. Late that year, Eastman resigned from his position at the Rochester Savings Bank to devote all his time to the new company and its business.

The major benefit of an extended retirement is that I can spend most of my time nowadays with photography and writing about it. Some of the boxes were a bit damaged but the actual film was protected so the actual film was all good. Please note that although we do not take any payment from you until the goods are ready for dispatch, the banks and credit card companies authorise that amount to be paid for a maximum of five to seven days.Probably, and no doubt justifiably, they fell foul of no end of health and safety concerns, a nicked finger on the broken end could have been very nasty. CameraWorld is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 689327. From what I gathered the Color Plus is based on older emulsion technology leading to slightly grainer and contrastier pictures, so let’s have a look at some samples.
