The EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush runs on a 2-minute program for 4 different places in your mouth. The motor: The IRM-1 handle features the latest levitating motor technology, allowing a 6mm stable swing to give you that full sweep motion dentists recommend when brushing your teeth. This is one of the most powerful motors developed - extremely stable with the ultimate sonic vibration.

The first thing I did was plug in the Arc Reactor into the supplied USB and hooked it to the charge adapter and plugged it in. The charging base lights up white like the Arc Reactor and slowly blinks as it’s charging “there’s also a red indicator on the brush itself indicating charging”. These modes offer up to 40,000 strokes per minute. And I can attest to the fact that my teeth are porcelain smooth after each use. What’s better with the IRM toothbrush is that it remembers what mode you previously used. This means that you don’t have to cycle through to get to your preferred mode. The EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush's idea of "clean" is the best I have ever experienced. While there is nothing wrong with any other type of toothbrush, the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush is very different (in a positive way). It is powered by a special “e1 microprocessor” that delivers an astounding 40,000 vibrations a minute! WOW! All this in an EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy over time. Now if you are a big Iron Man and Marvell fan then this toothbrush will be right up your alley. It looks great sitting on the bathroom counter and we both have to smile when we see it as it’s definitely not your regular “boring” looking toothbrush by a long shot and definitely worth the premium “especially when you see the presentation when unboxing it”. There’s a logoed power button and a selection switch where you can select “Standard, Sensitive, Whitening, and Deep Clean”. The brush heads come off just like all the other electric tooth brushes we’ve used over the years, “just give it a yank to remove”.My favorite superhero is Ironman. I love technology, so seeing the EVO IRM-1 Sonic toothbrush for the first time was truly mesmerizing. This is a toothbrush for the Ironman fans. As for the brush itself. This is one of the best electric toothbrushes I have ever seen. There are 4 modes - Standard. Whitening, Sensitive and Deep Clean.

OK, enough geeking out. If all that did not sell you, then you probably want to wait for another EVO product for your teeth.

Sensitive – the speed and movement are gentler on the teeth and gums, but still effective in cleaning; The vibrations seemed to slow a bit when compared to other modes but felt like a massage for my gums. I really liked this mode. I do love the design of the toothbrush, the glossy red and yellow blend together and allow for that iron man suit look. The arc reactor is neat too and lights up when charging. I also appreciate how EVO paid attention to every little detail when designing everything from the box to the toothbrush.

After 90 days of use, the Arc Reactor Power Button will illuminate from a white to red light to remind you to replace your brush head.I grew up reading Iron Man comic books as a youngster, “that was almost 50 years ago” and we are fans of the Iron Man movies. This new EVO Iron IRM-1 toothbrush is something that if you are a diehard Iron Man fan you’ll be extremely pleased with. Plaque Defense Brush Head: Features one-of-a-kind anchorless technology for ultimate cleaning and whitening. Its geometric bristle design infused with micro-particles helps with maximum stain removal and ultimate whitening effect, while fading bristle technology turns the bristles from blue to white over the course of 90 days to remind you when to replace your brush head. The only issue for me was trying to tell what mode I was in. You cannot see the outlined yellow accented modes while brushing your teeth because they are facing you on the toothbrush which you are holding. You literally have to remove the toothbrush, while it is running (and making a mess) to see the modes. Now, with that being said, each mode has its own “sound tone” that it makes when you select the desired mode (really!). I am sure that if you are using the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush twice daily, you will learn the assigned tone to each mode. But it takes a little bit of getting used to with a very, very short, learning curve. The second button, shaped like the red jowls of Iron Man’s mask, is the mode key that when pressed cycles through the 4 modes: standard, sensitive, whitening, and deep clean. Each of these modes illuminates a different red LED on the handle to help you identify which mode you’re currently using. The brush head for the IRM-1 is petite, slightly smaller than the manual toothbrush that I typically use. It has soft yellow outer bristles and a blue and white center bristles in the shape of the Arc Reactor, all infused with silver ion technology for antibacterial protection. Over time the blue color in the center bristles will fade to indicate when the brush head needs to be replaced, and it easily disconnects from the main body with a firm pull. The unit contains a rechargeable battery that charges wirelessly through induction when placed standing up in the arc reactor charging base. This proprietary base also needs to be plugged into an outlet via the USB-C cable and wall adapter and pulses slowly with a glowing white light during charging. A full charge will last several weeks if you brush 2 times daily, though a small red battery indicator near the bottom of the handle will turn on when the unit has low battery and flashes when the battery is critically low. The manufacturer also recommends fully discharging the battery at least once every 6 months to maintain maximum capacity over the long-term.

The brush’s power button indicator lets you know when it’s time to charge it up again. I mean it’s just fun to own and use outright every morning. I can say that. Evo has done a fantastic job and ultimately nothing bad I can say about it. It does a deep cleaning job and looks awesome. Definitely will lookout for more in this line. This is a sonic toothbrush worth your time especially in a sea of basic-looking brushes out there. To capture the market and the people who are into this, they did a job getting every single detail right. Love the product. If you or someone you love is a huge Iron Man or Marvel fan, and also cares about dental hygiene, this is absolutely THE perfect gift. The inlayed Ironman helmet on the exterior of the box makes keeping this box a must! Add in the "Tony Stark" signatures and I am Ironman insert. This is just a geeks toothbrush come true.OK, just opening the box, which is absolutely beautiful to any collector, is just a sheer joyous experience. Being welcomed to Stark industries by the recorded voice. My gawd I popped.
