In 1969 Gatorade became the official drink of the American National Football League (NBA), a title it holds to this day. Determined to make his mark at a time when trade in London was booming, Mr Robinson set up his own grocery business in the late 1700s. In October 2000, Cadbury announced they would team up with Britvic to create a limited edition Tango Orange-flavoured Crunchie.

Harriet Dyson, Marketing Controller Fruit Flavoured Carbonates at Britvic said: “Tango is a much loved bold british brand with a mischievous advertising heritage. Recognised by international quality institute Monde Selection, a wide range of our syrups have received Grand Gold and Gold awards for superior quality and exceptional flavour. Some say this is a reference to the number of ingredients in its original recipe, with UP referring to the lift provided by the lithium citrate in the original drink. Went down well with everyone in the household, although the taste eventually got a bit samey and is a little synthetic. We're all really excited to unleash this campaign on the world and continue to play in this slightly ridiculous, edgy and unmistakably 'Tango' universe we've created. Production and marketing of syrup under the Teisseire name began in 1927, and by 1959 had become Europe's unrivalled leader in fruit syrups. On the can itself, the word 'Tango' was featured inside an oval on a backdrop of half sliced oranges. In 2017 it built on this success, raising over €140,000 for these two charities in six months through the Ballygowan Gold initiative.

Simple operation, great-tasting water and pleasing aesthetics are fundamental to every one of Aqua Libra Co’s designs. At the outbreak of the Second World War, a great part of the vehicle fleet was commandeered by the government and used by the army. White’s, Scottish cyclist Mark Beaumont beat the British record for the distance travelled on a penny-farthing in one hour. He spent five years travelling all over the country working in a number of jobs, which helped him develop a head for business. After almost 20 years, J2O remains focused on its vision, bringing joy to get-togethers through its blends. The brand gained attention in the UK in the late 1980s and 1990s for disrupting soft drinks marketing with its creative ‘You know when you've been Tango’d’ advertising campaign which was seen to completely challenge the norms of the soft drinks market at the time.

In 2017, J2O underwent a rebrand, rolling out a tasty new recipe and new packaging design to reflect a more contemporary feel. Robinson's Barley Water was officially served at the All England Lawn Tennis Championships in Wimbledon for the first time in 1935 where the gentlemen's singles was won by Great Britain's Fred Perry. Harriet Dyson, Marketing Controller Fruit Flavoured Carbonates at Britvic said: “Tango is a much loved bold British brand with a mischievous advertising heritage. The London Essence Company infuses contemporary beverages with the glamour and nostalgia of the old world, to effortlessly elevate any occasion. In April 2018, Britvic was recognised in the CLASS Bartender's Brand Awards, with Britvic Tomato Juice Cocktail achieving full marks for taste. As well as its great taste, Natural Tea contains no added sugar, zero calories and sodium, giving it a great competitive advantage in the Brazilian market. In August 2009, a billboard campaign extolled the "weird and wonderful" side effects of drinking too much "Tango with added Tango Orange" (such as "Too much Tango made me suck a bull's udder"). Originally selling Tomato Juice, followed by other juices and mixers, the brand has continued to evolve, becoming a fantastic core range of fruit juice and soft drinks sold across the globe. Its tech-enabled taps are transforming what is possible and turning the tide against unnecessary packaging.

Tango, one of the fastest growing brands within the fruit carbonates segment 1, is introducing Dark Berry to its popular sugar free range this March. A staggering three million glasses of Robinsons are drunk every day in Britain – at 250ml a serve that's enough to fill 109 Olympic swimming pools a year. Bib-Label Lithiated Lemon-Lime Soda was 7UP’s original tongue-twisting name, back when the drink contained lithium citrate, a mood-enhancing drug, until its use in soft drinks was banned in 1948. The brand broadened its sponsorship to independent video game designers and players, with several flavours of Mountain Dew produced in the UK and the US in partnership with video games, increasing its popularity among gamers. Today, Gatorade is available widely in major retailers and is the sports drink chosen by more professional athletes than any other brand, including football teams such as Arsenal, Barcelona and Liverpool FC, the NFL and the NBA to name a few.The drink was put into development in 2000 and was initially announced as Freekin' Soda in Late-2002 [23] for a release within the start of 2003, but was pulled following concerns about the brand's name being unsuitable for the brand's target audience of children and teenagers, and the word "Freekin" being linked as a milder alternative to a strong profanity, which would have made the drink unsuitable to be marketed on children's television channels at any time or any networks prior to the 9 pm Watershed. It soon became known for its restorative power and its unique and almost indescribable taste: lightly sparkling, sweet yet refreshing, with an intriguing flavour note from the botanical and vitamin blend. The range provides something for everyone and is widely available from supermarkets, convenience retailers and wholesalers. The company was acquired by Britvic in 2010, creating one of the world's largest squash and syrup manufacturers. Since then, the brand has continued to evolve and the range has grown, with Britvic Tonic, Ginger Ale and Bitter Lemon introduced throughout the 1950s.
