Description

The original Solo set the standard for tasty, cool vapor quality while on the go, and the Solo II keeps it going with its ceramic, stainless steel and glass vapor path and glass mouthpiece. It is substantially different from the Solo and Air MAX, two of Arizer's other portable dry herb vaporizers on the market. I like how Arizer is focusing on something powerful for the home, something stealthy for on the go, and something in between.

You probably won’t need to poke around the inside of this vaporizer much, but if you feel the urge you’ll find a ceramic heating element and a combined ceramic/stainless steel oven. The bag has a durable zip and removable Velcro dividers to help you organise your accessories according to your preferences. But even when it runs out, you don’t have to stop your session—just plug in the wall charger, and you can keep vaping while your device gets its juice back. Overall, even today, the Arizer Solo is still one of the best portable vaporizers to use at home with the “option” to take it on the go. The legendary Arizer Solo II is back with a faster heat-up time, improved airflow, and up to 20 uses per charge! The Solo II has one of the longest lasting batteries in a portable vaporizer that we've tested with just shy of 3 hours of use.

The vapor pathway on the Arizer Solo 2 is all glass, which lends a little fragility to the unit but improves the vapor quality (discussed below). In addition, pairing the Arizer Solo 2 with the compatible Utillian Glass Bubbler really steps up the performance on this already awesome dry herb vape so make sure to check that accessory out if you already own a Solo 2 or are planning on picking one up. Others can also benefit from this like regular smokers who find it hard to switch to vaporizers due to the sticky habit of smoking. The Solo 2 comes to the plate claiming three hours of runtime, or about 50% more than the original Solo. Thanks for checking out my review, and if you have any questions about the Solo or any other portable, feel free to leave a comment below. It grinds dry herbs to the ideal consistency for vaping, with increased surface area for improved efficiency but still light enough to allow for good airflow, making it the perfect companion for your herb vaporizers. Vaporizers like the Mighty+ may be hailed as ‘the king of vapes’ for its consistency, ease of use, and stellar vapor quality, but its not for everyone. To load the heating chamber, you fill the bottom of your dish with the glass stem, insert it and you are ready to go.

It has a grip that is the most comfortable we have ever used and the teeth are still just as sharp as the during first use even after more than a thousand times grinding. The only features I wish it had are haptic feedback, replaceable batteries, and a session timer display. The long glass stem on this vaporizer is not the best design for discreetness but the carbon colour of the unit does help make it inconspicuous. This could well be the best vaporizer of this year and when you get a chance to use one you instantly see why. When you start vaping with your Solo 2, you have the option to set your session time for anywhere between 5-15 minutes. You hold the up button and the power button down to turn it on, then set the temperature with the up and down buttons. With the Solo 2, depending on your heat settings, you can get just under 3 hours of battery life, which is double that of the original Solo and 4 times that of the Arizer Air.
