The infotainment screen requested a smartphone link password for somebody with exactly the same abbreviated first name as the ex-mechanic. You're loss of power is "restricted performance" and quite correctly resets when the engine is restarted, that is until it detects the fault again. You need pathfinder and the correct lead for either the LPG or Diesel engine otherwise you won't be able to access the engine codes if you've just got the standard pathfinder cable. Most of the alternatives when this is lit seem to be related to either fuel system or emissions system faults. Mine came on when the 2 filaments fused in a stop and tail bulb and know that brake switches can cause it too.

Not all sensor faults log fault codes but the warning lamp is a good indicator that a fault will be logged. I checked the pipes this morning and there is no blockage in them, could feel compressed air coming out of the back exhaust box. Although the engine management records faults for quite a few things, with some there is a number of cycles that if completed successfully clear the fault. Theres no way I could tackle changing a fuel filter, it took me all morning fitting my LED indicator bulbs.Coil/sparkplug/engine management light comes on and the car goes into limp home mode, this started after I put petrol in it and drive it for 2 mins, it has since been flushed and cleaned (nothing replaced) but I'm now having this problem. I never get the starting problem without the warning lights, and I never get the warning lights without a non-starting 'episode'. I know that the dealers get a good kick-in but for the record i have been here twice now, and the service has been exceptional. More info needed but I would guess that the amplifier and/or power supply is possibly on its way out and the act of switching between sockets restarts it and temporarily clears the issue. There is a fact sheet on it in the members area listed under 'diagnostics' which should be able to help you identify which code it is.

Went out to see if it was still showing the faulty, no flashing light and nothing in the vehicle status screen. I don't want them to take piss and try an tell me it's nothing to avoid having to fix it, I know exactly how to get the light back on if it goes off though, does anyone have any idea on what it could be?

Don't know about the WSS but everything else on that list runs down from the ECU plug down the right hand side of the engine, that's where I would be looking first. Connections between quantity adjuster OB3 (N146) and VW engine control unit (N1:99, N1:106, N1:108, N1:116, N1:121) shorted or faulty. Had to pull over again twice to get get the car to the top of said hill, limped it home, but then had to drive 50 miles to where I was staying for work the next day, no glow plug this time, just engine warning. For info the car has done 49k miles in just under 5 years and I have owned from new and treated it well!

This might concievably have been because, until the representative showed up to view my car, it was unclear whether the repair works would be covered under warranty. We are registered with the Information Commissioner, registration number ZA187892, it details the purpose for which we process personal data. Almost certainly an electrical contact issue - sometimes these can manifest with engine movement such as under hard braking/cornering. I got in the car with slight trepidation this morning wonderingg whether I would have an issue with the glow plug or not.Do I need to have this checked out, or is it just a glitchsimilar to what weexperiencewith computers. Its really important that during a regen you get the revs up and get the engine load up (the ideal thing for dpf regen would be a hill climb for example). Another possibility is a dodgy temp sensor (coolant or fuel) as this could screw up the fuelling when the engine gets hot.
