It fits the Sawyer Squeeze net bag. This allowed me to hang the CNOC VECTO on a branch and use it as a gravity water filtration system. Squeeze: Similar to a bottle and gravity filter, a squeeze filter has a filter attached to a water container. To use a squeeze filter, fill the water container with dirty water, attach the filter, and then squeeze the water into a clean water bottle. You can also drink directly from the filter on squeeze bottles which combine the idea of a squeeze filter and a water bottle. Thru-hikes are a lot for any piece of gear. Things get used daily, they never really dry out, they are rarely cleaned. Just like you, your gear goes through a lot on a thru-hike and just like you, your gear may have some wear and tear on the other side. The VectoX was specifically designed with thru-hikers in mind. It is a heavier piece of gear and there may be folks who would prefer to carry an original Vecto and a Tear Aid Patch or two for the weight savings - but we wanted an alternative for folks who just wanted a water bag that would hang in there with them all 2000+ miles.

Some leakage.Even though I have not found it myself, I have seen numerous reports of users complaining they did get some leakage when using the bags with the Sawyer Squeeze filter. This would increase the risk of getting the dirty water mixed with your filtered one. Despite looking simple, the Vecto is made from relatively complex materials, including a porous, soft, strong TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane). We chose these materials because they ensure the best lightweight performance from your Vecto - but they need a bit of care, too. Some leakage from the cap. In my experience and that of other users who shared this in various forums, unless you tie the cap very tightly, you might see some leakage from that part. Obviously, the tighter you twist on the cap or the filter, the bigger the chances to damage the thread.
