We highly recommend using an external battery charger for 18650 battery mods, as it helps with balanced charging and prolongs the life of the battery and mod, such as from worn out microUSB port. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries with this device. We recommend all 18650/20700/21700 battery mods to use matching batteries with similar brand, model, and battery state at all times. Trying this with 70/30 e-liquid (IVG Select Bubblegum) with approx 6mg of nic salt added this was fine.

When pairing your new Xlim C with E-Liquids, no matter which coil you use, we recommend only using high-PG vape juices, such as nicotine salts or 50/50 E-Liquids. You should not use any high-VG E-Liquids in your Xlim C. Included with the kit:

To refill the included 2ml OXVA Xlim C pod, all you need to do is pull out the silicone plug that’s on the side to reveal the filling port and top up with your chosen e-liquid. You can also adjust the airflow to feel tighter or looser by using the switch on the side of the device. To get the most out of your kit, we’d recommend using it with an e-liquid that has a 50/50 or a high PG concentration. I mainly used my own e-liquid mix which is 50/50 PG/VG made from IVG Bubblegum Concentrate at 20% ratio. This is quite high a flavour ratio as I prefer plenty of flavour, but sadly this means it can be a coil killer sometimes. There is also an airflow slider on the side which lets you adjust from a solid MTL to a restricted DL vape. So, the device does allow for some fine-tuning. The base is where you’ll find the USB port, so you need to lay it down to charge. It has rounded edges which are purely cosmetic, but to aid stability there is a ridge around the flat surfaces so it stands up very well when you put it down. Whilst it is nice to have a pod kit that stands up solidly, I did find it a little uncomfortable but that is down to the way I hold smaller devices. I usually sort of rest it on the crook of my little finger as this is the best position for me when it comes to lining my other fingers up with the fire button, and the ridge rubs slightly.
