As a consumer, it’s almost impossible to tell which of the many variations of toothbrush is which by marketing name alone. The handle is slimline and rubberised making it easy to grip the electric toothbrush handle even when wet.

I can’t comment on how common this is, but environmental factors, such as leaving it sitting in water, can have quite an impact. This is also our choice for the best value electric toothbrushof all toothbrushes available today, irrespective of brand.In my hands-on testing I achieved a little over 10 days with the 1000, but a whole 3 extra days with the 2000.

Unfortunately we don’t know when battery is low because of lack of detailed battery charge indicator.It does too come with a premium travel case, similar to that of the Genius X, which allows the brush to be charged whilst inside. A new magnetic charger means the brush can be recharged in as little as 3 hours, rather than the more typical 12. In toothbrushes it seems the new modern tech way is the best/better… Some things like shaving are better the old school way (safety razor wet shaving).

I will be the first to tell you that Oral-B does appear to make their range of products more confusing than they perhaps need to be.
