I like that all the loose ends are tied up by the end, and I was right about one major plot point that I won't spoil for other readers.

But a long-lost sister holds the key the unlocking each personal history connected to this sprawling family. It has been a while since I started this series and obviously there were bits and pieces I had forgotten, but thankfully the author did a great job providing information along the way to help jog my memory. Looking forward to rereading the entire series again and enjoying all of the things I know now to look out for.

Lucinda Riley was born in Northern Ireland, and after an early career as an actress in film, theatre and television, wrote her first book aged twenty-four. I mean all he did was receive an enormous inheritance from his granny which turned him into this superrich dude. And I now feel as though I need to go back and reread the whole series, seeing it all in a new light with this newfound knowledge. Moving forward in time to the year 2008, a family reunion of sorts is playing out as seven sisters gather on the family vessel to bid adieu for a final time to the man that rescued each of them. However, following the trend from the previous two books, we would expect Pa Salt to feel some sort of affection towards Flora - from what we’ve seen, she neither rescued nor had a relationship with him beyond being his employer.

For Harry to finish off this hugely successful series – and to do it so brilliantly with this spectacular final book – must be one of the greatest writing achievements in contemporary publishing.I also found it to be a relatively fast and easy read, so I think it is a good one for anyone who has never read such big series before, as long as they like the genres. I was so caught up with the story that I couldn't even tell which parts were not written by Lucinda herself. Ir aišku jie pagal amžių subrendę, kalba idealia literatūrine kalba, jų tarpusavio pokalbiai primena karališkosios šeimos arbatėlės popietes. This book broke my heart and I had to put it down as the tears rolled especially for Pa Salt as a child and his experience with love.

We get no introduction to him and his wife, or any background, so it's hard to compare his or her appearance to that of Bo, the little French boy or Elle. The beginning was sometimes a bit confusing and I often had to turn to the other books to remember who is who. Firstly I would like to say thank you and congratulations to Harry Whittaker for completing his mothers final instalment of The Seven Sisters. As the rest of the story follows from this rather stupid misconception, I find it all a bit unbelievable. All of that said I continue to admire the original premise behind these novels, but the execution was increasingly not to my liking. For those of you who haven’t read the whole series yet, expect to see spoilers from all of the first seven books below. Pa Salt is a character who amassed a fortune but towards the end of his life, the sisters realise they hardly know much about him, so this book is the story of how he became the man he is and what motivated him to adopt the girls.
