Would have preferred it to be a little longer and a bit shorter, but most makes of oil filled rads seem to be the same sizes. kW of heat output, the Vento is perfect for larger rooms or for boosting existing heat sources around the home. It has three variable heat settings and an adjustable room thermostat to set and maintain the desired temperature, as well as an anti-frost function and an overheat safety protection feature. The temperature can be modified to various settings so it is great for leaving on if you need a little extra heat at night.

It doesn't have to be put up full and if it is on low the thermostat kicks in once the temperature drops. The safe design also fills you with confidence about using these heaters anywhere, and leaving them on near to clothes or kids and so on. My view is NO electrical appliance should be used in the bathroom unless it is designed for bathroom use and it correctly wired in by an electrician. I checked my electric power meter and switched the radiator between all 3 settings and these are the approximate power consumed on each setting. On first turn on, it does give off a not particularly bad, but strange smell, almost like a new plastic smell when you first turn on new electronics. The company 'Aghezty' works in the field of online sale of all electrical and electronic devices, air conditioners, mobile devices, intercoms, alarms and monitoring devices, and provides high-quality products with advanced technology that meet the desires and expectations of the consumer. Air is drawn in at the bottom, heated by the main radiant heat of the radiator and then expelled at the top. The innovative and exclusive design of the Vento VV551225 from De'Longhi provides both high performance and exceptional value for money.

If you use the thermostat it does maintain a steady temperature - this works better than I expected. I bought this for my daughter's bedroom; it's got a large bay window and is on the side of the house that never gets sun, so it does tend to get cold at night. Its variable thermostat has frost protection and a choice of three heat settings, with a safety cut out switch to prevent it from overheating. Thoroughly recommend this machine - it's silent in operation and pretty compact BUT (there's always a 'but') why is there no indication that this machine is painted in what is best described as 'Battleship' grey and not white?

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I know in the manual it does mention an odour when new but (apart from testing when I first got it) I had it on several hours yesterday and the odour seemed to disappear completely but then I went to put it on again today and it was back just as bad.

It actually suggests running the heater outside on full for a few hours but it's so wet and damp I wouldn't feel happy putting an electrical appliance outside and I've never heard of this 'gassing' before sounds like it could be nonsense? Many of the poorer heaters have large headline kWh ratings, but have very small surface areas (lack of metail fins, panels, vents) needed to circulate warm air around a room. A higher rating will obviously heat the oil to peak temperature faster, but once reached much less energy is generally needed to maintain oil temperature.

My only small criticisms of the radiator is it is slightly higher than I would have like, coming a little above the shelf on the dwarf walls of the conservatory. It does a great job of warming the area although truth be told we have not had any really cold weather as yet. My second rad was a DeLonghi 800W Banmbino which was actually purchaed for a small 8ft x 8ft office room. The Vento V550920 Oil-Filled Radiator by De'Longhi is an essential item to have when the temperature drops, providing comfort and warmth to any room. Bought it just over a year ago but it has only had a couple of days (non continuous) use when I first got it just to test it as it was bought just in reserve in case an existing heater failed.
