the 4-band semi-parametric eq: very very useful for adjusting the sound of some distos =) very good idea Boss as inclusion in the preamp section

the wah is nice, above my expectations in fact, as I never expect anything of this wah on multi ... I'm already used to play covers with my band and it is a very useful tool because it is easy to create the sound you search and memorize it. The abili ty to set up a seperate preamp or the compressor stompbox for a solo boost took some experimenting for me but once again the space savings of one less pedal is nice. Whichever mode you're in, the EZ Tone function gives you a good starting point for constructing your own sounds. Each effect type has a number of 'optimal' factory settings saved as an EZ Tone, and these can easily be summoned up by means of the effect module's 'type' knob. You can also overwrite the EZ Tones with your own ideal settings.

Guitar Multiple Effects

Estimated useful life of the batteries under continuous use: Alkaline: 12 hours Carbon: 3.5 hours (These figures will vary depending on conditions.)

Also, the speed of modulation and delay effects can be controlled from the expression pedal, which is a useful extra function to have, especially if you decide to add an optional extra expression pedal. OD/DS (Overdrive/Distortion): BOOST, NATURAL, OD-1, BLUES, DIST, CLASSIC, MODERN, METAL, CORE, FUZZ This raises the pitch by an octave when the expression pedal is operated. It is suited to single-note phrases. Certainly it is digital, so those who have the habit of his "lamp" will necessarily be disappointed with the amp simulations. I myself no longer used for a long time. But other effects are very usable and in all styles of music you can imagine or create. Not only was there a lot of effects on offer, but also they are all of good quality (at least in the ear of a beginner or an uninformed listener). This is a pedal that I find very generous for the price (even new!) Because it opens up a whole world of possibilities. I use it for three years now (if not more!) And I consider under any circumstances to part with. Not being a pro, I like it. I did not find much "my ultimate sound" but that's because I do not play enough and do not have the opportunity to try a whole bunch of stuff! Screen control only a number: deserved the opportunity to return to the known text memos for example.

Easy to use, however, it will nevertheless an hour to familiarize themselves with the pedal and the large effect used (such as phase loop for example if we had never used before) Have not been a hardcore Boss pedal fan (been buying pedals since 1969)but I must admit I like the design idea of semi-programmable stompbox format.

Customer Reviews

I love the possibility to put the batteries, plug in headphones, take my guitar and go play outside in a field in front of a nice view. sometimes sound a little digital ca (not as ca anyway) ... a little less gain, a little bit of eq and the problem is rule! With a choice of six main amp types modelled in the preamp section, you can quite easily run the ME-70 directly into a PA, mixer or soundcard. However, if you decide to plug into your favourite guitar amp and use the ME-70 purely for its effects, it's easy to turn off the preamp module.

Before anything else, I would like to remind other viewers that I'm gonna review this product according to my personal experience with it.The ME-70 can be powered either from six AA batteries or a BOSS PSA adaptor. The unit comes with a free set of batteries, but you'll have to buy the adaptor separately, which seems a bit of an odd cost-cutting measure. The ME-70's Delay section is equipped with a dedicated Phrase Looper, which offers a lengthy 38 seconds of recording time. Play a riff, capture and loop it, and solo over it, all in real-time onstage. Amaze your audience with live multi-layered magic. Very simple configuration that uses this crankset as several pedals, by the way there 4 footswitch one more than the ME 50 To plug the ME-70 into my computer for recording, I came out of the recording/headphone output, through an audio interface and into Ableton Live. The recording output added speaker emulations to the amp models, and once again I was impressed with Roland’s COSM modeling. All the digital amp sounds seemed warm and analog in character. At lower gain levels they responded well to touch dynamics, as well as cleaning up naturally with the guitar volume rolled down. Happy posseseurs ME 50 that you told me that BOSS does not s'tait too foul on this new version Wrong! They have everything but reworked in sound quality and no photo, hyper intuitive interface and good effects for correct amount!
