I have not encountered this before when using a EN-EL15 battery in the camera and in the grip, although this was with other cameras. Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade. I take an extra EN-EL15 battery out when shooting and it is easier to do this than have the added bulk and weight of the grip on the D500. It achieves excellent sharpness, coupled with gentle background blurs that are perfect for gorgeous portraits and close-ups.All you have to do is remove the connection port cover on the bottom of the camera and screw the grip into the camera's tripod socket.
