I felt like I could taste the sugar alcohols a bit more in this flavor, but it wasn’t overpowering by any means. The flavor was on point and I really enjoyed it.

Nutrition facts– 190-200 calories/bar. 7-8g fat. 50-105mg sodium. 19-20g carbs. 3-4g fiber. 1-2g sugar. 13-14g sugar alcohols. 20g protein.It’s attractive, I’ll give it that. Call me easy, but the coconut sprinkles add an element of luxe which I quite like. There’s also a pleasant coconut scent which is extra inviting.

I’m about to rave about these protein bars, so I felt it necessary to preface this review by saying that. It’s quite simple in its execution, but this bar nevertheless has an essence of luxe. Definitely not as good as the Salty Peanut, but it’s up there with Barebells’ bests. Mint Dark Chocolate (6/10)When Fulfil discontinued the ‘ Lemon Zinger’ I was more than a little bitter (pun fully intended). Although Barebell’s attempt isn’t quite as good, it’s certainly not bad. It’s not bad at all. The centre is very soft, almost fudge-y and with barely any chew. The chocolate coating is sweet and creamy, albeit a little thin. The crispies on the top and throughout the centre are plentiful and add a wonderful crunch. Texture-wise it’s pretty spot on. The flavor is tough to describe, and I can truly only describe it as a candy. The nougat interior is extremely light & airy, there’s a gooey caramel layer, a delicious chocolate coating, and crunchy cookie pieces lining the exterior of the bar. The flavour here is really nice. It’s definitely lemony, but not so zingy as to make you wince. The curd layer is a great addition, and any bitterness is beautifully balanced by the sweetness from the white chocolate. It’s not too sweet, but there’s definitely sweetness to it. There are sugar alcohols (14g) in these bars to sweeten them, which often don’t sit well with my stomach. But after eating quite a few of these bars (multiple boxes) I haven’t noticed any issue with the sugar alcohols.
