The differing personalities are all beautifully depicted and there are a lot of very funny situations and conversations. The hilarious Love Actually explores the ups and downs of relationships in the weeks building up to Christmas. I never thought I would say this but I think Love Actually may have actually (no pun intended) overtaken 'It's a wonderful life' to become my favourite Christmas film of all time. Some of the more bright scenes are a tad too bright or washed out for me, and the detail doesn't always reach too far into the shadows. As the years have gone by some of the scenes in the film have stayed with me and have become more and more powerful.

I have grown to love this film, each time I see it, I seem to learn something more about love, (I know completely daft but that is how I feel)so much so that when my recording digital box deleted the film to make more space I was annoyed and quite upset.
