Heading to the beach? Don’t forget your SUP. The ideal socially distanced sport, stand up paddle boarding has taken the nation by storm – thankfully not literally as calm waters are just what you need for a successful ride. If you are looking for added stability in a sturdy inflatable paddle board, we recommend the Tigerxbang SUP Kit. It has an extra-long and wide design that helps riders of all skill levels feel secure, even on rougher waters. Features The outdoor water sport sees a rider stand on a large, floating SUP board and use their paddle to move across the water. Excellent for all ages and great for working on your balance and core strength, stand up paddle boarding is now more accessible than ever. Generously proportioned, super stable and available at a sensible price, the Two Bare Feet Entradia 10’ 10” is one of the best inflatable SUP boards for beginners and bigger paddlers, but it’s more than just that. It’s tons of fun even for more experienced paddlers, especially if conditions are lumpy or if you have small family members that want to get on board. The kit is really nicely put together too. Variety: Some riders might want to paddle on flat water, others might want to catch waves. Some may even want to practice yoga. We tried to cater for all kinds of riders in this roundup.

We had a lot of fun trying out this board on lakes, rivers and the sea. The board comes in a decent bag that is easy to carry. Inside it has everything needed to get onto the water- pump, leash and three-piece paddle. As a low-cost board it offers good value for getting onto the water. It's great for children to get a taste of paddle boarding and was light enough for our nine-year-old and 13-year-old to carry the board to the water and offered enough stability for them to paddle as well as having lots of fun jumping on and off the board and gaining lots of confidence. With a good-sized centre fin that is easy to fit onto the board, it worked well when playing in the sea as well as the flat water. Like most of Aqua Marina’s line-up, this great little board comes with a bag, pump, leash, and the required fins to get you going – although you’ll have to provide the paddle. Ancient though they may be, stand-up paddle boards have had a very contemporary boom, and while the weather this summer hasn't been what we have all dreamed of, there are still paddle boarders galore on the waterways of London, in the sea in Brighton and on the Lakes of Cumbria. If you, too, are invested in the practice of surfing, lounging, meditating, doing yoga or taking out your dog onto the water, buying your own SUP might be your ideal summer dopamine hit. The popularity of paddle boarding continues to rise - and it's easy to see why if you've ever tried it How we chose the best iSUPs Why? Because there’s such a huge array of choice out there – choice that is riddled with measurements, dimensions, air pressures and paddle-boarding jargon that can feel intimidating to the uninitiated. To inflate the board you twist one end of a plastic tube onto the valve and the other screws into the pump – this is a single-cylinder, single-action pump (meaning it only pushes air into the board on the downstroke) and so takes about 5-10 minutes to see the desired 15psi on the gauge. This is one area you might want to upgrade if you find yourself paddling every weekend. It soon gets a bit tiresome inflating it manually.

Experienced paddlers who can handle both calm and choppy water might choose a touring SUP board, or one that's fit for yoga or fishing.Key specs – Total weight: 8kg; Length: 305cm; Width: 84cm; Height: 12cm; Air pressure: 15PSI; Volume: 300L; How much can it carry? 120kg; Accessories? Includes adjustable paddle, pump, leash, fin, and carrying bag; kayak conversion seat available at extra cost An inflatable stand up paddle is an excellent investment for anyone that’s looking to have some fun on the water and burn calories at the same time. There are countless health benefits to using one of these unique inflatable water paddle boards – from better balance to improved strength in your upper body muscles and core.
