Sue just happens to be in the adjoining dressing room (one of those crazy Sweet Valley coincidences) and overhears Jessica and Lila’s conversation. At best Rene Manzor has continued to work, but there appears to be no continuation of this films inspiration or vision. An axe-wielding psycho dressed as Santa steals a list of the cancellations and proceeds to kill everyone on it, framing Caesar and Otto for the murders. Love how Rachel manages to keep the pages turning because these books are so well written and you get invested in each of the cases. It kept me needing to read one more chapter late into the night, which is my measure of a good story.

The only thing I didn't love about this book is that it's the last one in the Zoë Finch mystery series (until another is published! The time of year is a backdrop for the events, and really the film does little to embellish, or critique the holidays.Jessica stands in the hallway at school thinking about how gross Jeremy is and how she almost gave him her v-card. A man appearing to be a rough sleeper is found dead behind a stall in the Birmingham German Christmas Market and DI Zoe Finch is assigned to the case. Even though this book is number 7 it was still interesting and the characters were still fresh and exciting.

Instead she hauls him into a stairwell and tells him all about Jessica, Sue, Jeremy and her crazy plan. However, the spelling in the book was a bit hit and miss, I enjoyed it and look forward to reading the next part of Zoe‘s new life.As an almost local who loathes what the Frankfurt market in Brum has become, it was the location that attracted me to read this.
