Jailing him for life, Mr Justice Lloyd-Jones told him: “The premature and pointless death of Ermatati Rodgers will leave a permanent shadow over the lives of her family and friends.” Mr Meadows provided some of these clips he had screen-recorded to the police - these were then shown as part of a compilation to the jury on day one of the trial. Following the verdict, Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jones said: “I don’t think we will ever know what the motive was. She says that, in that call, Mr Walley had moved to the kitchen of his house as 'Mark was annoying' him. She told Mr Philpotts that the victim had become 'agitated, angry, upset and fed-up' by the end of the call. North Wales Police have released a statement, a spokesperson said: "We remain in attendance at a property in Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham following an unexpected death of a 40 year-old-man.

The investigation centres around the death of a 59-year-old man, named John Ithell, from Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham. ‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌ Paramedics said they were were called to a property on Pentre Gwyn in Caia Park, Wrexham, shortly after 6:15pm last night, Monday 23 October. The nature of the incident is yet to be confirmed. He then played computer games for a day and a half while her dead body remained at his house, before burying her in a field at Erddig near Wrexham. A compilation of evidence was then played in court, showing clips gathered from multiple sources including North Wales Police and Jones' snapchat account.

Detective Chief Inspector Alun Oldfield said on Monday: “I would like to offer my condolences to Kyle’s family at this extremely difficult time. Ms Jones was asked about screenshots of a call log taken from her phone between herself and Mr Walley. She confirms that Mr Walley and herself had called one another on July 11 and that conversation lasted over 20 minutes at around 4.30pm.

Notorious murderer who buried body in concrete coffin found running major drug operation after release from jail Mr Meadows also described how Jones had messaged him telling him he ‘had smashed his phone’ before further clips showed Jones and Mr Walley looking out of a window side-by-side, before an argument ensued. The defendant must have thought that on the Monday morning they were likely to move into the actual field and find the body.

But on the weekend of July 11, Mr Davies was at home due to his partner being ill. He noticed a person on a scooter parking up outside the flats and initially suspected it to be related to a drug deal. The defendant watched the police looking for the body from the top of a nearby slag heap, hiding in bushes, wearing camouflage clothing and using binoculars.

The circumstances surrounding this incident have been the subject of widespread social media speculation, and we are aware that many young people may have been affected by this. As such, School Liaison Officers and the Neighbourhood Policing Team are working closely with colleagues at Wrexham Council to offer the appropriate support and reassurance to the local community.” PC John Pritchard, stated that he was 'made aware' of an incident in the Wrexham area where a video was being circulated on social media depicting a stabbing. But police found his DNA on her mattress and deleted “glamour photographs” of Ms Rodgers on his digital camera which included her in underwear and semi-naked poses. PC Scott Duncan also provided a statement as he was present for the arrest of Jones. He states that the defendant's left hand was 'bleeding profusely'. Police searching fields around the Erddig area of Wrexham close to where Ermatati's body was actually buried in March 2009At 6:42am on June 12 John Ithell, of Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham, was found on a lane adjacent to Cefn Road, Wrexham. ‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌ Referring to June 18 of last year, Ms Upton says she was informed that Jones had been spending time with Mr Walley in Rhosymedre. But, just a week later Ms Upton said that Jones told her he wanted nothing to do with Mr Walley. The fourth witness called to the stand was Charlotte Upton who was Jones' probation officer and said that she had had 'no issues' with the defendant. The third witness in court was Michael Farmer, who appeared via video link. He told the jury that he had known Mr Walley for ‘a couple of years’ and that he also knew Jones through mutual friends.

The next witness brought into court was Ms Attia Jones, who never met Mr Walley in person but had become friends with him through Snapchat some four or five days before his death. She also tells of having heard loud screaming' and 'heavy breathing' towards the end of the call. She called out Mr Walley's name but had no response. But the jury of six men and five women took seven hours to dismiss his story following a three-week trial. From day one, there was a determination and a coldness about him that it was clear he would do whatever it took to frustrate the police inquiry,” the detective added. Ms Jones says that, during the call, Jones walked into the kitchen wearing Mr Walley's jumper and that the latter was 'not happy' about it.
