But when I attempt to record the audio from my Dj controller using my iPhone camera, no audio from the controller is recognised in the saved camera recording. The only audio that can be heard is any external sounds being received into the iPhone mic.

I just bought a Irig Pro Duo for my daughter... and I agree there are very few good connection tutorial online, if not none. All of them are indeed introducting the products and doing the plugging off camera as you pointed out. My daughter got AmpliTube on PC with that free QR scan, she did some testing but failed. I will have to sit with her and dop the troubleshooting. You might have to tinker with volume for awhile to get everything right, but it's fairly intuitive and easy to use (more on this later). Setting up the iRig Pro Duo to work with Audacity

The two XLR inputs are also combo, so they accept unbalanced instrument-level sources via TS 1/4”. Can I connect an unbalanced electret condenser microphone too? So I wonder which free Android recording device is recommended to recording and jamming on an Android phone. In addition to being an amp modeler and effects processor, AmpliTube also provides recording capabilities. Been talking to Support and they say the USB-C cable you supply with the iRig no longer works in the new iPads. Wish I'd been told this sooner! :

Since I also wanted to be able to use it with my own pedal board and MIDI keyboard through Reaper with various sample-based libraries I wanted it to have two inputs (stereo) and MIDI, so I would not have to buy two interfaces: one for my phone and one for a laptop. That's how I ended up at this box and not a cheaper iRig. Above, headless Q2U’s directly digital output, flat (to compare with the preamp and A-to-D converter in the iRig Pro Duo I/O). However, when plugging my headphones into the Irig input I can clearly hear the audio coming from my Dj controller. In addition, this also applies when plugging my external speaker into the ‘THRU’ input using a 3.5mm to RAC cable

Indeed there's no doubting that IK Multimedia has an eye on just about every audio application with iRig Pro Duo I/O, both in and away from the studio. It comes with batteries (2 x AA) and Lightning, USB-C and USB-A cables so can be used with iOS or Android devices but will also draw power by USB for more flexible use with a Mac or PC (it can be powered by DC but the adapter for this is an optional extra). And overall, it boasts decent enough specs to capture good quality audio recordings for a lot of different situations including music production, live streaming plus audio for podcasts and videos. You should also notice the green signal indicators bouncing up and down, as you play. If they're red, your signal is clipping which means volume will have to be lowered, either on your guitar (or amp) or at one of the mixing points in the application. Battery Life (Recording- Max load*): 3 hours, 30 minutes (NiMH rechargeable); 45 minutes (Alkaline) The iRig Pro Duo, while portable, isn't exclusively for those on-the-go (can hold its own in all recording environments)

A great value mobile interface, ideal for capturing quality audio for a wide range of tasks

Focusrite’s ever-popular Scarlett 2i2 was fleshed out with compatibility for iPad Pros last year, giving you access to a great sounding interface that plays well with a range of software from Garageband and Cubasis 2 to FL Studio Mobile. iOS Devices: Compatible with iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone SE, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation), iPad Pro 9.7-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st generation), iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad (6th generation), iPad (5th generation), iPod touch (6th generation). iOS 7.0 or later is required. As shown above, this output fortunately has its own level setting on the corresponding side of the Rig Pro Duo I/O. Test recordings Even though the Rig Pro Duo I/O does not have VU meters, it indeed has LED indicators to help use set the level properly. The lower multicolor LED on each channel is there for that purpose.
