When you’ve finished with the carrycot or even for putting it in the car, a clever mechanism on the base will make the carrycot flat which makes this a great option for smaller spaces too! The bumper bar does look stylish and little boys may feel excited (role-playing driving). However, restless toddlers will not have any support to lean on the sides. What I Wish Could Have Been Better

The internal liner is very soft, though you can still feel the side supports at the top and bottom through it. All of the fabrics can be removed for hand washing. The inside of the carrycot measures 74cm long and 29cm wide, so it should last until the child is around 6 months old. The brake application on the Moodd couldn't be much easier, the right pedal puts it on and is coloured red, the left pedal takes it off and is coloured grey. Definitely flip-flop friendly, though you do need to press quite firmly. The casing on the seat unit reflects the glossy plastic used on the rear wheels. It gives such a ‘car showroom' finish to the overall look but you must remember to treat it carefully, scratches are going to be as noticeable as a keyed car on the Moodd. Small basket. The basket is accessible, but small. It is just not deep enough to fit anything aside from a diaper bag. The ultra-modern design of the seat and canopy gives the Moodd stroller a unique egg-shape, which has a chic feel.

What is nice about this Quinny stroller is that the pushbar is adjustable. The handle extends from 37” to 41” above the ground to accommodate the tallest and shortest of moms and dads. Simply press on the button in the middle of the handle bar to adjust the extension of the handle bar to your height so that you can stroll in comfort! With its curving, contemporary chassis and sleek design , the Quinny Moood doesn't look quite like any other pushchair on the market. It’s pretty pricey, but if you’ve got the cash and are looking for something a little different to push your baby in, it could be worth considering. Turning circle is small, but the rear wheels are pretty wide at 26” so it could be cumbersome if you’re in a tight space. However, this wide base is also what gives the stroller great stability. The 5-point harness is adjustable so that as your child grows, you can increase the length of the harness with the sliders as well as adjust the height of the shoulder harness higher (there are 3 different height settings). The only concern is that the center release button could be too easy for an older toddler to open. What really differentiates the Quinny strollers from other strollers in the market is really the stylish and eye-catching looks. For newborns, I would highly recommend using the Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier to transform the Moodd into a safe, warm and comfy pram that allows the baby to lie totally flat.

We love that the Moodd seat reclines fully so it’s suitable from birth, can be forward-facing or parent-facing, and comes complete with a Cocoon Pod (similar to a cosy toes or footmuff) for extra cosiness. Another option is to invest in the compatible Folding Carrycot for your newborn, but you’ll have to buy this separately. The Moood is also travel-system ready with a range of car seats for extra convenience. Also, the footrest is very short making it comfortable only for kids up to 2 years old. For all this money, I would like to see a better footrest. Honestly, although it is NOT a practical stroller, the Britto edition blew me away. The styling on the Quinny Moodd is quite different from other pushchairs out there. It has eye-catching, stylish looks that really stand out. With the elongated stem protruding from the centre of the chassis, the rear is curved upwards creating plenty of room for your legs. The glossy chassis is matched by the shiny plastics on the seat. There's a 5-point harness on the Moodd with 3 height settings as your child grows. It's simple to adjust the length with the plastic sliders, as well as to adjust the height setting by unhooking the harness and sliding it through the seat material. It then needs connecting to the right height on the seat. The shoulder pads are nicely cushioned and feature the moodd logo on the right side. They are poppered into place which is a nice touch to prevent them from slipping up or down. Another change to the 2015 Moodd is that the harness webbing is now colour coded to match the rest of the pushchair. From birth the Quinny Moodd is compatible with the compact carrycot, which will keep your little one safe and comfortable till around 6 months old. On the frame of the Moodd, the carrycot sits quite high which we love and memory buttons make it super easy when you’re taking the carrycot off the pram. This foldable carrycot offers the optimal comfort for a newborn on a stroll as it allows the newborn to travel lying flat. It can accommodate babies from birth to about 15 Ibs. The inside of the carrycot measures 29 inches by 11 inches, so it should be able to last till the baby is around 6 months old.

The Moodd stroller weighs 33 Ibs (well, the cool unfold mechanism comes at a weight). For moms, you may not be able to easily throw the stroller into your trunk unless you remove the seat first and put the 2 pieces in separately. Moving up to the handle, pressing the button in the middle will allow you to telescope the foam covered handle from 96cms to 104cms. Fold The brake controls are on the inside of the rear wheels. The right is red and applies the brake - the grey releases it, both are step-on mechanisms – so no broken toe nails! Although the reversed deep recline position is said to be suitable for newborns, I personally would only put a baby in it after 3-4 months old because the seat is not totally flat and the design of the stroller seat is relatively open. Maxi-Cosi has also developed a special range of color that matches perfectly with the colors of the collection of Quinny strollers. Looking For A Pram?No peekaboo window. I noticed that many luxury strollers don’t have a peekaboo window… I wonder why… I always want to see what baby Sophia is doing so it is a must-have feature for me. Baby is kept very comfy with a double mattress. Not only is there an included removable mattress, but the bottom of the liner is also padded. Both the mattress and liner are colour coded with a slightly lighter shade than the pushchair, so it looks great. A padded apron zips over the top to protect them from the elements. These strollers are created to fit the urban lifestyle. They’re versatile, nimble, and unbelievably clever. They maneuver like a dream. All their strollers are lightweight and flexible, for easy folding and transportation for young families on the go.
