Cursed with Awesome: Getting shot by an evil ghost's magic spell gives the singer superpowers in "Gostbostr", although it doesn't help his drug habits. The very first song describes that the Ghostbusters have to remove a ghost from your bladder because you need to pee. The album itself ends on a rather abrupt note, thanks to Joel's keyboard breaking down when he supposedly actually wants to sing the song properly this time. Luke, I Am Your Father: " Ghostbusterswars" opens with Darth Vader saying the trope word-by-word (even though he actually said "No, I am your father." in the original film).

A text-to-speech program reads the Wikipedia article's description of milk during the bridge in "Ghostbatista". The angry fans succeed in killing George Lucas after being unsatisfied with Star Wars 9 at the end of "Ghostbusterswars". Department of Redundancy Department: "Ghostdubster" has the singer call himself a "stupid moron" after running out of vape juice.Ghostdubsters" is also partly in second-person, with the singer blaming them for using up all of the "vape juice" and threatening to kill them. Because Star Wars 9 did not include a scene of C-3PO and R2-D2 making out, a group of angry fans shot George Lucas dead at his ranch. This isn't even accounting the fact that he likely had nothing to do with the scene getting cut. Killed Offscreen: Near the end of "Ghostbusterswars", George Lucas is abruptly revealed to have died sometime after the release of Star Wars 9. Out-of-Genre Experience: While not too dissimilar from the gags and bits scattered throughout Joel's livestream output, the avant-garde comedy of Super Ghostbusters is a massive deviation away from the Heavy Metal albums before and after it in his discography as Vargskelethor. Intentional Engrish for Funny: Joel himself speaks English fluently, while the singer is much more stereotypically Swedish and choppy with his language (except for "Ghost Boston" and "Ghost Bologna", in which Joel breaks character when he advertises himself in the former and when his keyboard breaks down in the latter).

Let Us Never Speak of This Again: The livestream release of the album ends with this trope being mentioned by name. Percussive Maintenance: Joel attempts to fix his dying Fisher-Price keyboard by slamming and yelling at it. This ends up breaking it for good. The final line of "Ghost Bast" has the singer taunt the viewer for expecting a regular rendition of the song, before noting: "You'd think the last song would be good, but... HA-HA!" Ghostbusters (Busting Makes Me Feel Good)", another straight cover that suddenly has Joel switch to singing lyrics in line with the rest of the album, ends with him saying "You idiots thought it was gonna be it this time, huh?" The chorus responds by swearing in frustration. Breathless Non Sequitur: The singer of "Ghostbusterswars" gushes about Star Wars 9 being "so fine", before announcing that George Lucas died in the same line.

Overall Take

Sole Survivor: The singer in "Ghosttbusters" is the only one left alive after he poisoned the water supply

Overly-Long Gag: The entire album is just Joel singing multiple bizarre songs over various different MIDIs of the Ghostbusters theme song, some of which don't even mention ghosts at all, yet still have the Ghostbusters involved somehow. Prank Call: Seemingly everyone is tired of getting calls from the singer for this reason, and eventually the Ghostbusters take it into their own hands to put a stop to it. In "Ghostbusterswars", Darth Vader(/Anakin Skywalker) and Yoda have three lines and one line respectively. The ending of "Ghostbusterswars", where a group of angry fans murder George Lucas after being disappointed with Star Wars 9, is clearly a jab at those who sent death threats to the actors that participated in the Star Wars movies, starting with The Phantom Menace. As well as shippers that overreact to those who don't agree with their pairings, as the fans targeted George because the film did not include a scene of C-3PO and R2-D2 making out. After being told by his parents to shut off the music, the singer of "Ghostdubster" got "really angry, and shit [his] diaper." Played for Laughs with "Ghostbatista", which starts off as the singer attempting to get milk, before singing about the benefits of milk. Then, during the last ten seconds, the singer's skeleton becomes sapient and bursts out of his skin. Horrible Judge of Character: The singer of "Ghostbusterswars" notes that Anakin choked his wife, before cheerfully proclaiming " Oh, what a clown!"

Letting the Air out of the Band: The album only stops after Joel's Fisher-Price keyboard breaks, causing the MIDI to slow down and corrupt before failing entirely. Spared By Adaptation: Despite ending the original trilogy by turning into a force ghost in the original canon, Darth Vader ends up resurrected in a physical form during the events of Star Wars 9. Adaptational Comic Relief: While Darth Vader is a No-Nonsense Nemesis in canon (but not one without a twisted sense of humor), the Vader in "Ghostbusterswars" is far goofier; proudly declaring that he shall bang a robot for the final scene of Star Wars 9. Death by Cameo: "Ghostbusterswars" has George Lucas end up getting Killed Offscreen by wrathful fans sometime after the release of Star Wars 9.Just Joking" Justification: When the Ghostbusters arrive at the singer's house to beat him up for one too many calls, he pleads with them that it was just a joke, to no avail.
