Pipe collars are an attractive way to cover up unsightly holes in the floor caused by radiator pipes. Otherwise known as decorative pipe covers, they enhance the overall look of your floor installation, providing a professional finish. Pipes for wall-hanging radiators normally reach from the radiator down through the floorcovering and join up with the main pipework, hidden beneath the floor. Fitting a floorcovering neatly around the pipes is difficult, almost impossible to do when trying to cut small, regular sized holes into materials such as porcelain, concrete or wood. Similarly, if the floorcovering is of a type which requires expansion gaps, such as some laminates, LVT, WPC or SPC, the hole needs to be that much larger and can be even more of an eyesore.
