I recently got a retail job so let’s just blame that on taking over my brain and pretend this story was memorable. And even tho it does touch on homophobia, it's on a world stage for people that are very famous, not *so much* in the personal, so I don't feel this book has any trigger warnings. I know we usually associate classics with books from the 1800s or whatnot, but HR is a classic MM, especially sports-romance/hockey romance, along with Him. They grappled and maneuvered each other until they reached the bedroom, where Shane shoved Rozanov roughly against a wall and continued kissing him. The two are so horny for each other that it took Ilya until November 2016 to say Shane’s name because they would refer to each other as their last name (not to mention it was pre-orgasm).

Shane was charming in his own way, keeping up with Ilya’s banter and showing he wasn’t as shy as he seemed.However, under all that mockery, perky humor, and interesting character lies a side of him stowing away.

i think my main gripe about enemies to lovers is that authors are so quick to jump from characters that loathe each other to characters that would die for each other.Shoving and cursing each other and battling for control until one of both of them gave in and allowed themselves the release they both craved. Usually, I try not to let the hype get to me, but when you take a book like HR, it is impossible not to have high expectations, and that is a strong reason why I didn’t like this.
