Overall, I graded it a 4, it does provide some tension, has a better plot than most, it did kept me waiting for more and it worked fine for one late raining night. I love horror, so I tend to be a tad bid tolerant to this genre. Ebert, Roger (10 December 1999). "Review: Pups". Chicago Sun-Times. Archived from the original on 20 March 2006 . Retrieved 15 July 2012.

So, I'm going to jump straight to the bad part. The kills! You just don't get to see too many, and when they do happen, they are kinda hidden, masked, budget clearly didn't help a lot so they made the best of it I guess. Considering this is a horror movie, of course we would like to see some nice kill shots but it is just not the case here.

In May 2012, Barton discussed her recent preference for the horror genre, following roles in Homecoming, Apartment 1303 and Sibling "I literally became obsessed with that genre. I can't tell you. Because I never watched it when I was younger; it used to be way too terrifying for me." However Barton added that, "I think I've gone through my little phase, for the moment." [42] In June, Barton appeared in Noel Gallagher's music video for Everybody's on the Run. [43] In July 2012, Barton made her stage return in an Irish production of Steel Magnolias, playing Shelby. It premiered at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin on 12 September, and a nationwide tour followed thereafter. [44] [45] After the premiere, Barton received praise for her performance. The Evening Herald wrote "Barton sparkles from the moment she steps on stage...Barton's Shelby is instantly magnetic". [46] a b Canby, Vincent (9 June 1995). Young Ms. Barton, who was so fine in Tony Kushner's "Slavs" at the New York Theater Workshop, has a sweet gravity as the doomed Emma. I think a lot of people deserve apologies for the things that were done to them at that time,” she says. “The Britney doc really got to me. Watching that was very strange because I was in all the same places.” Her experiences of being followed by the paparazzi were similar. “Certainly, you couldn’t get away with it today to the same extent, not the same kind of danger,” she says.

Meanwhile, Craig's wife Kelly invites her best friend Bianca over to discuss where Craig might be. Kelly reveals to Bianca that Craig is having an affair and wants to kill whoever it could be. Bianca stays the night and falls asleep on the sofa after Kelly drugs her. Her maternal grandfather was an Irish language professor at Queen's University Belfast. [6] She has two sisters, Hania (younger) and Zoe (older), the latter a barrister in London. [7] Barton has stated that she briefly attended St. Paul's Girls' School in Hammersmith, [8] but her father's work took the family to New York City when Barton was five years old. In 2006, [3] she became a naturalised citizen of the United States, but retained her British citizenship [ citation needed]. She is also eligible for Irish citizenship through her mother. That was also not a bad film. The Bunker or as I prefer to call it “ The Hoarder” is a very well made and well executed horror film, I thought the film achieved what it set out to do and done it very well. It was very chilling and this was helped by the setting and score of the film which made everything very eerie. Barton has since appeared in the comedy remake St Trinian's (2007), the Richard Attenborough–directed drama Closing the Ring (2007) and Assassination of a High School President (2008). She returned to television, starring in the short-lived Ashton Kutcher-produced CW series The Beautiful Life (2009). Then, when Barton was 17, she got her part in The OC. She had played a small role on the 2002 crime show Fastlane, and one of its producers, McG, who was also working on creating The OC, fought to get her the role of Marissa. In the medieval era before streaming, and for those of us whose only TV excitement – in the UK at least – came courtesy of Channel 4’s youth channel, The OC, with its sex, drugs, drama and glamorous, though morally bankrupt, wealthy Californian lifestyles, became massive. Within a year, the attention “was almost out of control”, she says.

The rest of 2017 didn’t get much easier – a month after that TV interview, Barton’s legal battle with the two men she had accused of attempting to distribute videos and images of her came to a head. Both were former boyfriends; one had filmed them having sex and taken nude images without her consent; the other made copies. They reached an agreement to hand the images over. a b Montiquem, Fabien (31 May 2007). "Mischa Barton hurts her parents". Thebosh.com. Archived from the original on 30 September 2009 . In July 2006, Barton appeared on the British comedy variety show The Friday Night Project as a guest host. [27] In 2007, Barton appeared in the films The Oh in Ohio and the comedy film Virgin Territory with Hayden Christensen. She also joined Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer in Richard Attenborough's war drama Closing the Ring. Attenborough praised her, saying "her ability to convey pain and sadness, hopefulness and fear, is riveting". The Independent also noted that "she lends her character a beguiling vulnerability." [28] She also appeared in the British comedy St Trinians (2007), appearing as a former head girl of that school advising current senior pupils on fashion and style. [28] Later in 2007, Barton was cast in the international film produced by the Russian band t.A.T.u., called You and I. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2008 and was released theatrically in Russia in 2011.
