Pretty as a peach (and scented with an irresistibly peachy fragrance) this super-cute palette is a fresh new take on neutrals. I just wanted to come back here because I had commented initially saying I LOVED the palette… even the D and F shades-that time I had only used it about twice and had used it both times with UD Anti-Aging Primer. The pigmentation is incredible too and the shimmer shades are some of my favourites, they just make my eyes pop as the colours hit the light. It had semi-sheer color payoff with a powdery texture that was blendable but hard to work with without a primer.

It has a sweet, peachy scent that I can smell with the palette closed (but in the same room), but I don’t notice any lingering scent when the eyeshadows are applied. It had good color payoff with a slightly drier feel that did not apply as well as I thought it would. There are minor variations between a few shades, but they are within what I’d consider normal discrepancies found between batch to batch.

The finish had a subtle luminosity that gave it a natural look without being noticeably shimmery on. The texture was dustier, thinner, so it was prone to sheering out and took a lot of packing on the lid to apply decently. It looked pretty, but I felt as though, apart from maybe 3-4 shades, this palette seemed very similar to the original chocolate bar palette (colour wise I mean. The pigmentation level for the eight shade varies a bit but all of them have a milky finish as opposed to a translucent finish. I’m surprised you didn’t like candied peach its one of my favorite colors in the pallete i used it with primer and it performed beautifully and was so pigmented and pretty on my lids its one of my favorite colors.

It’s good to see that I have some dupes for some of the shades, as I’m not impressed with TF’s teasing and limited releases.Not too mention I think it’s funny that the actual peach colors are the colors that got the worst grades!

The texture of all three shades was firmer and denser but not really stiff–they are in the vein of MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes, NARS Dual-Intensity Blushes, etc. The consistency was smooth, blendable, and easy to work with on the skin, but the powder itself had a firmer texture in the pan, so it was better applied with a denser brush rather than something really feathery.
