it to play to its strengths. At about 90 minutes sans credits, it's very brisk, too, so love or hate what it does, there is no mistaking that the film is gory moments spread out over 90 minutes. The characters are likewise uninteresting, but they are at least played with physical zeal to spare. The Fresh out of theaters, currently available on VOD and now streaming exclusively on SCREAMBOX, Bloody Disgusting’s Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls is coming home for the holidays, arriving as a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray on December 19, loaded with bonus features, extended/deleted scenes, commentaries and an exclusive slipcover. Since its Sundance premiere, the energy surrounding the film has steadily grown with RogerEbert.com calling Onyx the Fortuitous “a handmade horror gem.”

All Roads Lead to Cokey: The Making of COCAINE BEAR – Meet the hilarious ensemble brought together to bring the movie of what is soon to be the world’s most famous bear to life.human flesh -- to find its next fix. The drugs are scattered all over the park, and they are also all over some of the people in the park. As the bear UnBEARable Bloodbath: Dissecting the Kills – From rigging to special effects makeup, to some of the actors doing their own stunts, we’ll get a bears-eye view into some of COCAINE BEAR‘s hilarious and gory kill scenes. There are about 30 minutes of bonus material included here with an audio commentary, a blooper reel, interviews, behind-the-scenes and more. Each of these segments is too short for any real info to come across, but the enthusiasm and love for the film and comedy are infectious. knows its audience, and maintaining focus on what the audience wants, rather than pretentiously try to build something more into the film,

Eric Clapton should create a sequel song to his adaptation of the 1976 hit song by J.J. Cale, Cocaine, with new lyrics about bears doing cocaine. He should call it Cocaine Bear and base it on the absurd, funny hit film of the same name. Cocaine Bear truly lives up to its title about a bear that does an obscene amount of that Snow White dust but fails to really hold a story or forward any character. It simply exists to entertain and that's just fine. Primary Audio is offered in English 7.1 DTS-HD. Cocaine Bear was exhibited theatrically in Dolby Atmos, but Universal’s decision not to release a UHD means that they also didn’t include that mix here—like many studios, Universal generally doesn’t offer Atmos or DTS:X on standard Blu-ray. It’s a solid 7.1 mix, although there’s little doubt where the overhead channels would have been utilized for Atmos, such as a moment when the bear gets onto the roof of the ranger station. Still, this 7.1 mix is effective enough on its own, with plenty of surround engagement at all times, and there’s some prominent deep bass when it’s appropriate. The dialogue is always clear (for good or for ill), and Mark Mothersbaugh’s score is well-supported in the mix. Additional audio options include Spanish 7.1 DTS-HD, French 5.1 DTS, and English Descriptive Video Service, with optional English SDH, Spanish, and French subtitles. This is a Universal Pictures movie, so we’re looking at M3GAN and Halloween Ends to get an idea of the DVD release date. The two movies have taken about two and a half months between theater and DVD, so we’re looking at something similar for this upcoming release. M3GANis another 2023 movie, so it’s one to follow closely for the prediction. The story, then, is practically nonexistent, and that's what the film wants: any semblance of forward narrative motion is due only to the progression

the top characters who are hopelessly one dimensional but who serve the movie well enough as cannon fodder for the bear, and sometimes for the All Roads Lead to Cokey: The Making of COCAINE BEAR – Meet the hilarious ensemble brought together to bring the movie of what is soon to be the world’s most famous bear to life. Unbearable Bloodbath (HD, 8 Mins.) - A longer look at some of the more gruesome sequences and how they were made, which was a lot of fun. One of the most charming facets of Onyx the Fortuitous is its commitment to practical effects, specifically its use of puppets to bring demons, ghouls, and creatures to life.
