The archetypes are all pretty cool. I don't really wanna gush about each of them individually, but I most like the Artillerist and Firework Technician.

Airsoft guns shoot 6mm round plastic BBs. They are very light and range from 0.2g to 0.5g in weight. Lower power airsoft guns generally shoot 0.2g or 0.25g BBs, while more power and upgraded airsoft guns can shoot heavier weights over 0.3g. Heavier BBs will be less affected by wind, and will be more accurate. Airsoft BBs are available in regular plastic, bio-degradable materials, and a special glow-in-the-dark material called tracer BBs. Tracer BBs must be used together with a tracer unit, that resembles a suppressor. It is screwed onto the threaded barrel of an airsoft gun, and exposes any BB traveling through it to a strong flash of light. Tracer BBs will absorb this light and glow in the dark as they leave the barrel and fly towards the target. When fired in full auto, tracer BBs can look like a laser beam. The Gadgets section of the Gears equipment feels like a bit of a whiff, though—they seem neat, certainly, but I’ve never been convinced that the Pathfinder adventurer economy really has room for disposable or one-use items.I’m still trying to decide how I feel about this, though. You can make a case either way. On one hand, it keeps all the content for a particular class together. If you’re building an Inventor, you don’t have to go sifting through a bunch of guns content and vice versa. On the other hand, it’s a little weird to have to go looking for the gunslinger class info out in the middle of the book, rather than up front where you’d usually expect it to be. I suppose it’s something I’ll get used to, but it’s a little weird the first few times. And in either case, when you’re talking about using it in the context of online tools, it’s ALL just a search box or a drop-down away, however, Paizo chose to organize the hardcover. Double-Barreled Pistol CRB: Less damage than a typical pistol, but having two barrels means that when Evan Tarlton wrote: Yes. Yes. I can see why you wanted to keep this under wraps for three weeks. I saw loads of speculation on what the new classes would be, and what that might mean for the book. I saw plenty of gunslinger guesses, but nobody started guessing "inventor" until we got a couple more crumbs. Also, I didn't see anybody guess that there would be a tech book. I am as excited for this as I am for Secrets of Magic, and to have an Automaton ancestry as well... *chef's kiss*

The damage output seems kinda low, especially for the non-Weapon inventors. The Construct doesn't seem super deadly as levels continue on. The armor has a few nice things like energy resist, but it sounds like in combat the most good you're going to be is 'the guy who doesn't die'. Barbarians can do that while also dishing out some pretty serious damage, so I'm not really sure what an Armor Inventor does. Maybe this will make more sense to me when I see it all put together in action. Not for sale where prohibited. What I really like about the Sterling Dynamo is that it gives more options for melee characters, and it’s all about utility which is my bread and butter as a player. This also goes hand-in-hand with Lost Omens: The Grand Bazaar, which introduced and discussed prosthetics at length. I appreciate the fact that Golarion is a world for everyone.
