Writing has become my world and I can’t imagine myself doing anything other than giving life to new characters and new stories. You know how some things simply makes your heart burst with happiness? A really good book, a puppy, hugging someone you’ve been missing like crazy? That’s what writing does to me. And all the hard work, all the sleepless nights, all the anxiety…everything is worth it at the end. And I'm hoping that reading my books will leave you with that same happy feeling. I have many issues with the book including: hating the characters, consent, her boobs, boring, pedophilia? (question mark bc it's weird), the cringe... agh so many things. There's a scene I love in the book that Ms. Dornet narrated, and wow. Insert ten fire emojis here because wow. It was even steamier than when I read it! So, I told myself to read this book because I had not read any sexual scene yet. But I should have stopped because this book's very first sexual scene is a big fat, NO. I don't even know what else to say other than it took me a lot of head shaking to get to the end of the scene. So did I actually read so many chapters of this book to get this horrible scene? Yes. Am I stupid? YES.

Just for the record: "little one" was mentioned 48 times in this book & yes, I counted. It sounded so predatory so I had to affirm myself that Jason Thorn is not it. how long this book was. they were in love with each other since like the 30% mark why was this dragged out?I didn’t expect to like this story as much as I did. It started out cute then felt like it was going to be the typical same old, when the hero was presented being a typical manwhore in an alley in the present. However, somewhere along the way I fell in love with both main characters and started to really enjoy the story. I found the writing solid, sweet, and overall a good romantic read. tbh there are way too many things i don't like in this book but i forgot half of them already bc it took me this long to read. My world is a less scary place with you in it, baby. I will kiss you a thousand times every day if that’s what it takes to keep you in love with me for the rest of our days”

I loved how they meet again years later. I loved how they fell in love. I just well I loved this BOOK.It's a fun book in an equally fun audiobook, so of course I'm recommending it! I read To Love Jason Thorn a few years ago, and it's one of the books that fully cemented my love for New Adult Romance. Listening to it was just as fun, if not more. The narrators did a wonderful job in portraying the characters, and I'm so happy to know they also narrated To Hate Adam Connor. Listen to that, too! It was easy to see when they met again that Jason is attracted to her, but his respect for her brother and parents kept him from making a move. It was so sweet and honestly hot to see that change—from seeing Olive as kind of like a little sister he wants to protect to a woman he wants to love. SWOON! The book certainly brought all the feels, and elements of all characters. Throughout the novel, the story is smooth and generally moves along well. At the end of the day if you are looking for something that you have read similar to this before and don’t mind another, then this will satisfy you.
