To do this we studied all 262 products that show up in the Televisions category at Currys PC World as well as the 73 from the brand JVC. As we explored above, we managed to identify 262 products in the Televisions category at Currys PC World. Other options include some basic games – including a surprisingly strong retro Sega collection – and basic radio and music offerings. TV-specific extras include the option to name your various input sources, though frustratingly this is from a set list rather than an open text field – so for example my Nintendo Switch has to go in as the generic ‘Game Console’ even while my PS4 is labelled ‘PlayStation’. It doesn’t matter if it’s a microwave or measuring scales, researching the right electronic device for your needs will save you a lot of headache down the line.

So the final step for us was to look specifically at products that are made by JVC but are also only fitting in the Televisions category. JVC branded Televisions Next up we thought it would be useful to narrow down our search a bit more and only look at Televisions made by JVC. We managed to find 18 options at Currys.

Like JVC TVs, many of the cheaper Panasonic LCDs are also made by Vestel, however the 6-year warranty and (potentially) better support by Panasonic themselves would make the Panasonic/Richer Sounds combination a far better bet than JVC/Currys with a 1 year warranty, IMO. In our modern world, electronics are all around us. You can’t go too far without bumping into something with an electric pulse. Whether it’s a television, your mobile phone or even appliances in your kitchen, you probably have dozens of electronics in your home at any given moment. Some brands and specific models can make a splash with consumers. Because of this, other companies sometimes offer very similar products that might be quite a bit cheaper.

That did however bring up one issue…that JVC are known to make more products than just Televisions. To be honest though - if you're concerned about things like processor speed and RAM, then you should really be avoiding JVC altogether. JVC TVs are made by Vestel and pretty-much exclusively for Currys. Spending a decent amount of money on a Vestel TV with only a 1 year warranty may not end up being a good move. LG, Samsung, Philips (etc) all make 65" TVs in a similar price range that will most likely be a better bet than JVC, plus will usually come with a 5 or 6 year warranty if you buy them elsewhere. It’s always best to ask for help in deciding what model has the specs right for you. Sometimes you might find that the specs aren’t good enough for what you are after. Conversely, you may also find that you don’t need extra bells and whistles, so could save a pretty penny by switching to a lower model. Do your research products were identified that fit the criteria mentioned above. Setting yourself a budget will really help you to narrow down your search. It can also help you to avoid the slippery slope of buying a really expensive product that perhaps had advanced specifications that you didn’t need or couldn’t actually afford. Some brands are synonymous with quality. If quality is your focus, avoid budget brands that don’t specialise in good products. The more deluxe ranges offered by household brands are usually a reliable place to put your money, but results can vary from model to model. When it comes to computers, pay special attention to processing power and memory. These will affect your experience the most if you’re just looking to browse the internet and use your PC to store files.But for other PC uses, such as gaming or video editing, you will need better graphics cards, RAM and GPUs.
