Moderate - On your feet for much of the day, either standing or occasional slow paced walking. Typical jobs: shop assistant, teacher, chef/cook, bar worker, engineer. The Western Australian wine label of Hay Shed Hill is located in Wilyabrup, found inside the Margaret River wine region. The vineyard is situated on a property that was originally a place where the soldiers who returned from the First World War got settled with their families. Here, vines were first planted during the early 1970s. NOSE: Fermentation in stainless steel tank allows the full expression of Chardonnay fruit aroma without the influence of oak or lees resulting in a bright, clean tropical fruit bouquet.

A fruity, smooth and easy going Shiraz - far too easy to drink! Bright with colour and aromas of plum and red currant over toasty mocha and spicy oak. The palate is full flavoured with plum, blueberry and mocha notes. The tannins are well balanced and give the wine great structure and length To see our full range of Pitchfork wines go to http://veganwineonline.co.uk/product-category/pitchfork/ Heavy - Active for much of the day, walking non-stop and carrying objects. Typical jobs: hospital/ward nurse, waitressing in a busy restaurant, cleaner, porter, labourer/construction worker, gardener, farm worker. Leisure Activity Level The vineyards of Hay Shed Hill are located in the valley of Wilyabrup, just about 5km from the Indian Ocean. Therefore, it enjoys the benefits of the sea breeze that cools it down throughout the day, even during the hot afternoons. WINEMAKING: Shiraz from selected premium Margaret River vineyards were used to make this wine. Fermented in open stainless steel tanks with twice daily pumpovers aiding fruit tannin development. Maturation in new, 1, 2 and 3 year old French oak for 12 months encouraged wine development and structural complexity. The objective was to produce an elegant Shiraz with complex aromas and characters and with texture and structure, the use of French oak instead of traditional American oak gives rise to a wine of greater sophistication.PALATE: The palate is rich with tropical fruits, clean zippy acidity balances the sweet fruit character resulting in a bright fresh flavoursome palate. When good quality Chardonnay is used unwooded Chardonnay takes on a whole new level of depth and intensity.

PALATE: Good concentration of ripe sweet berry fruits with impressive mid palate fleshiness. Soft round palate profile with ripe tannin at finish.
