I'm just trying to insert how perfect Johnny is wherever I can. To no one's surprise he was perfect with Shannon's younger brothers. Tadhg, Ollie and Sean adore him. Devastation flooded my body, joined by deep regret. Johnny’s face a beacon of lost hope behind my closed eyelids, as I accepted the hand I had been dealt. Also, the romance we were waiting for is finally here!! The slow burn in this series was insane but so worth it.I loved that Shannon and Johnny are always talking about their feelings. There isn’t miscommunication and I LOVE that. I wish it was like that in other books with “adult” couples.

The sounds of my little brothers' sobs and sniffles as they huddled behind Joey were almost too much to bear. Honestly these two books were just MASTERPIECES. I am completely and utterly blown away by the characters, the writing, the plot, the feels, the angst, the pain, the comedy, JUST THE WHOLE FLIPPING BOOKS. I AM OBSESSEDDDDDDD!!! & that’s an understatement You show up and all the bad just… goes away for a little while.(...) That’s how you make me feel,” she whispered, blue eyes burning their way right down to my soul. “Better. Alive. Free. Safe. Important. I feel like I can breathe for the first time in days and that’s only because you’re here - because I’m with you” It’s okay,’ she whispered, wrapping her arms around me, fingers moving through my hair. ‘Everything’s going to be fine.’Easiest 5 I’ve given to a book in such a long time. Was this book long? Yes. Would I have changed anything? Absolutely not. Every single part of this book was utter perfection.

Well, we feel the same about you,’ Tadhg growled, hand shaking on my shoulder as he stared at our father. ‘None of us want you!’ I'll just mention all the positives first because there's just one: Joey Lynch. Being an older sister with a somewhat dysfunctional family, I understood him on an astronomical level. He was the only character that honestly got any kind of an emotional reaction from me. I could feel his pain, and multiple times I just wanted to get into the book and physically hug him 🥹 A heroine who at last had the character development she deserved. Yes, I did warm up to her by the end even if she was the most boring character in this entire series😃 I grabbed the huge, white polar bear from the top of her bed and held it out to him. "Gibsie bought this one for her thirteenth birthday and demanded she name it after him," I said. "She compromised and called it Gerry." Begins where book one ended, so certainly not a standalone. The character development is my favorite part of this series, it’s incredible. Every character, even the side characters feel genuine.

Katie and Hughie They are a couple and PLEASE Chloe, keep them that way. Preferably until the end of this series. They were moments of them kissing, hugging, sneaking to you know and they were honestly cute. The reason why this book (and series in general) deserves all these 5 stars is because it has HEART. It has so much HEART, SOUL AND LOVE in it. The love is real. The most beautiful thing about The Boys of Tommen Series is, that it emphasises that love comes in many shapes and sizes. And I'm so sorry," Lizzie sobbed. "They know," Feely replied. Turning to Lizzie, he crooked a finger and said, "Come here." "Wh-what?"

Three words that should have held more meaning and importance than any other question I'd ever heard. Problem was, I knew in my heart that whatever answer was given, whatever lie she told herself, and us, the end result would be the same.Want more of Johnny, Shannon and the rest of The Boys of Tommen? Read the rest of the series so far:

Gibsie and Johnny's bromance is one of the best thing that happened to me in 2020. Their friendship is to cry for. I loved it so much. Their banter is hilarious. I don't know how many times I LOLed, because of these two. These two don't have any secrets and are constantly giving each other unnecessary life advises. I WAS DYING! WARNING: This review contains a lot of screaming, crying, fangirling and mental breakdowns. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotions.Oh, love, I'm so happy it's working for you again," Mam said, sagging in relief. "But you shouldn't be interfering with yourself when your friends are over."
