Overall Viability? I have yet to test it, but this sounds like a great idea. You get rid of their combo pieces and fight against the totally not broken Droll/Reincarnation combo. Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Although you can call either or, I’d recommend calling Spells because you hit all of their enablers and, by extension, won’t really be able to use their traps.

Tribute 1 DARK monster with 2000 or more ATK; look at your opponent's hand, all monsters they control, and all cards they draw until the end of their 3rd turn after this card's activation, and destroy all those monsters with 1500 or less ATK. The vicious visage of Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair holds no hint of compassion or mercy, not even for cards that have yet to be played – his special ability lets you Tribute a DARK monster to interfere with your opponent’s hand! Special Summoning Diabolos is no trouble either thanks to his powerful Summoning ability that will naturally trigger as you advance your gameplan. Pretty much all of your monsters are 3000 or less to fulfill the requirements, although you would probably want to tribute a monster with 2000 or more ATK to get its second lingering effect. In that case, you can tribute SS’d Lilith, Darkest Diabolos, or an unnaturally beefy Duke Shade Many handtraps like Ghost Ogre and the loli army actually have beefy DEF so they are safe from this card.vs Pendulum Magicians: It’s kind of a bummer that calling spells doesn’t affect Pendulum Monsters in hand, but there’s still a lot to hit!

Each time a Spell Card is activated, the controller of that Spell Card takes 1000 points of damage. Once per turn: You can make this card's ATK become double its original ATK until the end of this turn. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this effect was activated: Destroy this card. You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK and DEF become halved. If Summoned this way, it is destroyed during the End Phase. You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except Fiend-Type monsters. Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Archfiend" card from your hand or Graveyard, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target. Overall Viability? Not sure yet, I have yet to test it. I’m not sure how much they rely on their monsters for FFV to be a viable counter. If a DARK monster(s) you control is Tributed (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from your GY (if it was there when youTributed) or hand (even if not).vs Mirror Match. Pfft, what doesn’t it hit? You get to destroy main combo pieces like Lilith, Ahrima, Armageddon Knight, and Tour Guide, but hitting Steam the Cloak unfortunately sets it up. When you Normal Summon this card, remove from play any number of DARK monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains 400 ATK for each removed card, until the end of this turn. Discard 2 cards, then target 1 Trap in your GY; Set that target. It can be activated this turn. You can only activate 1 "Boogie Trap" per turn.

This is the newest card, so it’s utility still requires testing. In the proper match-ups, it could be a great card that denies your opponent’s immediate destruction effects like against Burning Abyss or Pendulum Magicians Activate only by paying 1000 Life Points while you have 3000 Life Points or less. Select a Normal Trap Card in your Graveyard. This card's effect is the same as that Trap Card's. Remove from play that Normal Trap Card. Any Battle Damage your opponent takes from battles involving this card becomes 0. Once per turn: You can target 1 Effect Monster in your Graveyard; banish that target, then, until the End Phase, this card's name and ATK become that monster's name and ATK, and it gains that monster's effects. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect. If this card is Tributed: Draw 1 card. If a monster you control would be destroyed by battle, you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead.

Overall Viability? Definitely worth it. Call spells, but I’m not sure if you’d want to wait for them to have their scales set up. If you activate this card, you cannot Summon other monsters this turn. Special Summon 2 "Doomsday Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position. These tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, unless it is for a DARK monster. Declare 1 card name; if that card is in your opponent's hand, they must discard all copies of it, otherwise you discard 1 random card. However, the upside of this card is that it can be used with {{Fang of Critias}} to summon {{Doom Virus Dragon}} which actually has the original CCV effect! I really want a Critias build where you can Turn 1 Doom Virus your opponent into oblivion. Wouldn’t that be lovely…vs Mirror Match: This card is quite sub-par in this setting. Although we hit Steam the Cloak, Duke Shade, Armageddon Knight, Tour Guide, Scarm, Destrudo, and the tokens, we don’t hit key combo pieces like Lilith or Ahrima. SPELLS: Allure of Darkness, Enemy Controller, Monster Gate, Lair of Darkness, Terraforming, Foolish Burial, Twin Twisters SPELLS: Card of Demise, Disciples of the True Dracophoenix, Dragonic Diagram, True Draco Heritage, The Monarchs Stormforth, lots of General Spells TRAPS: Solemn Strike, Solemn Warning, Solemn Judgment, Torrential Tribute, Heavy Storm Duster, Dimensional Barrier, Evenly Matched, Skill Drain Overall Viability? Definitely not. Many of these cards actually benefit from their destruction/being sent.
