I like his fearlessness, but caution tempered attitude, and can respect a man who can stand up to a god. If you're the type of reader who favours a more system orientated read with in depth skill descriptions then this will certainly tick that box. The main character is coming along well ending the book at level 14 but able to fight well outside his weight class. Literally god like powers thrown at him immediately for doing nothing but make either stupid choices, or for doing nothing.It was incredibly edited and time managed so that I really never saw a low point, or felt like there was a lull in the story. It is nice to see a MC in a RPG book that doesn't really have a history of playing video games, but he learns how game mechanics work while trying to stay alive so that he can find his sister.

I didn't know what to think of a litrpg book having never read one before but this book was a real fun good read.

Singers claim the Barrow Kings fought against the Kings of Winter, the Starks of Winterfell, north of the barrowlands, in the Thousand Years War, but runes of the First Men indicates the conflict lasted about two hundred years. I'll attempt to book two to see if the story gets any better because there are a lot of reviews on this however I think they may be for younger readers or maybe new to the genre, but hopefully the author's writing style and skill level improves to engage the reader more.
