My only problem with the book was that when I compared it to Twisted Hate, it felt short. I enjoy reading books with witty banter in their relationship like joshjules had vs the calm and cool approach christianstella have. The spice in this book was also less compared to the other twisted books (2 major scenes) TG and TH had a lot more. I’m so upset that I didn’t love it because they were my babies. They still are but not my favourite lol. Twisted Lies was alright. The story of Stella and Christian was hard to follow. This book is incredibly slow burn but the angst is so well-written. Ana also surprises readers with cameo scenes. This is also the steamiest romance book in the series. okay let me talk about stella first; that girl is the most relatable, beautiful (in and out) and sweetest girl i’ve read in my life. i think every teenage girl that read the book can see a part of herself on her, she has so many insecurities about herself and her life, such as; She's the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can't solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can't refuse. Every monster has their weakness. She's his. His obsession. His addiction. The relationship/slowburn, were brilliantly orchestrated I loved every step they took from being neighbors with awkward encounters to agreeing to be in a fake-dating relationship that profited both of them, Stella needed a little boost to upgrade her game in the fashion influence world and Christian wanted a candy arm to exhibit at mundane events. They eventually acted on their mutual attraction because the tension between them was cristal clear, palpable throughout the book.😮‍💨Sweet, shy and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage. When her brother abdicates, she's suddenly faced with the prospect of a loveless, politically expedient marriage and a throne she never wanted. He’s overly protective of her and thinks Ava trusts everyone blindly so he asks his best friend for a huge favour.

Day by day, inch by inch, she breaks down his defenses until he’s faced with a truth he can no longer deny: he swore an oath to protect her, but all he wants is to ruin her. Take her. Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman. He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can't deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him. The last 12% of the book definitely wasn’t as intolerable as the first 88%, but that unfortunately wasn’t enough to save it for me.

I also love how at the end they actually talked about not getting married yet because they want to work on building their careers and even tho they seem like the most immature couple that makes them the most mature couple.
