It’s similar in finish to Moonstone but the icy white hue makes it less wearable for warmer skin tones. I have been wearing this non stop since I got it in early July and every time I wear it my love for it’s beauty grows. On me Rose Gold is already too dark to work comfortably as a highlighter but it can work as a blush topper. I know many fair skinned ladies have been waiting for Becca to make Pearl a permanent shade in their collection, and they have finally done it. However, it’s still more shimmery than say, the Essence Pure Nude Highlighter or the It Cosmetics Hello Light Powder Luminzer.

It’s been awhile since I’ve used a Shimmering Skin Perfector and tastes change and memories fade/distort over time, so I was interested to see how Moonstone and Opal would compare to the RMS highlighter. In my swatches I actually had to build the RMS Living Luminizer up for it to be visible to the camera. Additionally, the shimmer and pigmentation of the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfectors are much more pronounced.It can be a multi-purpose product and can be used as a highlighter, blush topper (or bronzer topper as shown here), and eyeshadow. Quick tip: If you get this color and feel like it’s darker than your skin color, use it as an eyeshadow! The shimmer is especially noticeable and blingy under direct sunlight which is why I don’t particularly care for BECCA’s liquid highlighters since I’m outside a lot of the day. I don’t think there is a product in this brand that I don’t love, and some are well up their as holy grail products. Regardless of where you choose to purchase from, make sure to check if Rakuten (ebates) is offering cashback. It’s probably the dramatic color shift out of all my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors and it’s very reflective as it catches the light. Though it’s got a medium level of reflectiveness, the bits of sparkle are pretty apparent and I don’t love the way it looks on my cheeks. Yes, you can definitely find cheaper alternatives like the ones from Essence Limited Editions and I'm sure more brands do similar ones.
