We've seen all kinds of eggs making their way through the wood work over the last few weeks, but Guinness have definitely topped the table with their reasonably priced egg, with mini Guinness pints that will surely be eaten all in one sitting.

The egg itself is made out of welded steel (not chocolate!), while the painted shell is made from a sandwich of foam and resin-impregnated canvas. Both the structure and the shell were built in four separate sections which were then fitted together for the official record attempt and unveiling on 9 March.The Casa do Chocolate team hired nine chocolatiers to work for eight consecutive days on the chocolate sculpture.
