At the end of the day it was still showing 3 out of 4 lights on the charge indicator Interestingly the FlashpointRapid 600/Godox QT600was actually reading much faster at full power than the specs state, so I need to look into that further. The 600 PRO recycle times are genuinely fast. Asecond or just under at full power, and less than half a second at 1/2 power.

First real-world use

This ability to overpower the sun comes from the massive 600Ws of power that this light can produce. This light has a power range of 1/256-1/1 in 10 increments, a recycling time of 0.01-0.9s, as well as sporting TTL and HSS capabilities. The compact 5″ reflector supplied with the 600 PRO appears to be much more of a wide angle umbrella style reflector, than the more focused 7″ reflector supplied with the original XPLOR 600 strobes. I have to say, the weight was the only negative aspect I found with Godox AD600 Pro. Although the weight isn't particularly heavy at 3Kg, taking four or five on a location shoot could be tiresome, and bear in mind you also have to take 3Kg of ballast to counter-weight the boom arm too. Where the head is simply sat on top of a light stand, it was fine, and gave excellent results every time, making it a fantastic battery-powered strobe for location shots, such as this...

The color mode yields impressive accuracy, though at the expense of auto-dumping. In color mode, when you lower the power the flash will beep at you until you dump it yourself. To do so, just hit the test button.Gute einstell Licht für Nacht Aufnahme ein muß. Super kompakt für 600ws. 3kg sind ok, für Power ohne ende. Ich benutze es als mobile Studio on location mit ein c-stand Stativ die sogar auf eine Treppe steht kann. Habe bis jetzt ein 500ws benutzt die wesentlichen große und schwerer ist, ohne high-speed sync und ohne ttl. TTL habe ich noch nicht getestet, ich benutze es auch bis jetzt nicht wirklich aber vielleicht kommt das noch.
