This manga could have been one of those that i like to remember in the future but at the end i only have a headache while a write this, with the hope of feel better after this. At first glance, Masamune-Kun seems like a generic harem anime but it has elements that sets it apart from other harem anime: while the characters are indeed generic, the story line has a major difference from other common generic harem anime (it reminded me of Nisekoi, but without Shaft’s studio skills). This is definitely one of the better harem anime out there, so I feel that it does deserve a 7/10. The art’s good, the characters are good, the music’s great, and the concept of revenge sets this anime apart from other harem anime. In that scene, her past is revealed to have a very important bearing in her sense of self. In the whole manga, only that scene was a source of conflict between Double-kun and Adagaki.

If there's one thing Nisekoi does well, it's write endearing filler chapters respecting and at times moving forward established characters, while still being entertaining enough that people won't mind reading it. This is a harem romcom, plot doesn't matter. What counts in this genre is how many cute moments can you cram in a tankobon (or how many lewd ones if you're Maken-Ki).
